It was a very average hotel. We had a great stay, the staff were so lovely and kind, just the hotel is outdated, not the cleanest, no ambiance, mainly seniors staying there.. just dull and average. Very cheap and in a fantastic location tho so it was really just a base to sleep for us, which is why it worked.
Lovely staff nothing was too much trouble brekkie was super yum and great value.
Showers are hot and work well...great clean pools perfect location...would have been a 5 star when first built now a little worn in but clean and excellent value...yummy bali instant coffee in room would recommend and stay again
When we arrived at 1am it looked deserted, but in the light of day it was good, great pools, handy to lots of bars and restaurants, there are 27 TV channels, but 2 of them are Russian propaganda, which I found disgusting.
Excellent and affordable accommodation right in the heart of bali living !! The staff here cannot do enough for you.

If you love the Legian location then this hotel is perfect, clean cheap and well placed.. it could use a freshen up as far as room facilities are concerned but all in all you get what you pay for.

Staff are lovely & very accommodating.
Hotel: you get what you pay for. In its prime would have been a lovely hotel. Now it’s a bit worn, but gardens / pool well maintained.
We had the family room & it’s very worn, yet lots of space. Sheets were clean but had old stains on them. Don’t bother with the breakfast.
The hotel is ‘fine’ considering the price.

I really liked this hotel ! 5 star for their breakfast, customer service, wifi runs smoothly & they do room clean up which is great! Their customer service was amazing we went in June & we had no complaint about it. Stayed for 4 nights then moved but we wished we went back & stayed for the rest of the trip. Will definitely come back here. Also the shops are near so nice & the staff are lovely here. Thank you Grand Sinar for your hospitality !!!

Good location, however, the new Iconic is massive, creates a huge footprint creates much more traffic. To cross the road is dangerous!
The Bathroom Needed A Good Clean With Domestos, The Minibar Needed The Ice Defrosting Out Of The Freezer Section So You Could Use The Freezer, Apart From Those Few Things It Is Good Value For money & A Good Location.
As they say you pay for what you get. But was not expecting it to be as bad as it was leaking floor water everywhere and moulded ceiling and Aircon not working I contacted their Admin Office, and they did change me to another room. On a Positive note, staff where accommodating was close to all the shops Beach and Restaurants in Legian.
