"UNDER THE PALMS" of Downtown Mount Dora

A beautiful, fully-renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cozy attached guest house in Downtown Mount Dora. Includes fully equipped kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator, dual sinks, toaster & coffee maker.

Each bedroom has a king-sized bed. An extra twin-sized bed is available, if needed. There is a make-up/hair station in each bedroom, which includes a large mirror, desk with a drawer, chair, hairdryer, extra outlets, and a make-up mirror. Living room has flat screen HDTV with Roku, Xfinity streaming included, WIFI and a very comfortable leather recliner couch.

Private picnic area & parking available.

Steps away from downtown Donnelly Park, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, community center, Lake Dora, nature trail & boardwalk.

If you are going to Mt. Dora, this is the place to stay! Randy and Lu Anne, the owners, are lovely people who answer any question within seconds! The property is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Nice Adirondack chairs that we took advantage of outside every night and early morning with coffee. Being 1 block from the village is an added bonus. Convenient to all shopping and dining and sightseeing. I could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay with my 90 year old mother. Should I return I will certainly book this gem again!

Under the palms at Mount Dora

This was our first stay at this location and we left really happy and planning to return. The place was clean and so close to the center of the town. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

Great place to stay in Mount Dora

Very clean Perfect size has all the essentials free parking spot was convenient Hosts are great Very close to cool bars, restaurants and unique shops .Pisces Rising, Back Porch, The Nest, Frog and Monkey and Yardery . You will not be disappointed .

Perfect stay

Has all you need including very comfy clean big beds and an extra twin! The luxury big reclining couch was a huge hit and perfect for watching a movie before bedtime or watching the news with coffee/tea in the morning! Easy walk to the lake, all the great food and shops in Mt Dora. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night.

Location, location, location

Like I mentioned before, this property is in a perfect location for going into downtown Mount Dora, we were there for the Art Festival and it is literally a 3 minute walk to all the stores and restaurants, parking was no problem for our two vehicles and the rental itself was perfect, two King beds,a kitchenette and a nice Porch to sit outside

Quick Weekend

The property was perfect. Great location - could not get much closer to downtown Mt. Dora. The owners were extremely friendly and reached out throughout the trip to ensure everything was going okay. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything a person would need. Would stay again for sure.

Under the Palms was an excellent experience for us. It has all the room and basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay, and it is clean and quiet. LuAnne and Randy are kind hosts, available as needed and never intrusive. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant for walking. Highly recommended.

Great location for downtown access

All we needed for enjoyable 3 week stay. Only 2 blocks to town. Community center literally around the corner. Off street parking. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Two bedrooms with comfortable King beds. Plenty of towels. Fully equipped kitchen.

Amazing Location

The unit is a perfect distance from the main central area of town. You can walk everywhere within 5 minutes. The owners are extremely supportive and easily reachable. The unit is clean and fully stocked. This is my second time visiting this unit.

Perfect location for craft fair

The home was just perfect for our weekend stay to see family and go to the craft fair. The home is well appointed and comfortable. The owners communicated with us. They live onsite and we saw them throughout the weekend; kindly letting a family member park onsite to enjoy the short walk to the craft fair with us.

We loved this little home away from home…..an escape for us from the big city to the charming small town of Mt Dora. Luanne and Randy instantly endeared themselves to us! Their rental was clean and confortable and had everything we needed. The location can’t be beat. We loved playing Pickleball a block and a half away and walking everywhere. Restaurants overlooking the lake were our favorites. We would highly recommend this idyllic spot.
