Stunning setting and well looked after. We were two families of four with young children and it was perfect. Peak District on the doorstep and some beautiful locations within an hours drive. There has been quite a bit of investment in the property since we were last here with new bathrooms and a new boiler. Emma and Matt look after the property and the guests cannot do enough to make sure your stay is enjoyable and to make sure you have everything you need. There was 4 adults, 3 kids and a teenager in our group and there was plenty of space for us all. The garden is a lovely place to sit and relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine depending on the time of day. A car is essential as it is very rural and situated down a long track, however this does make it extremely peaceful and a wonderful place to switch off. We will be back! ##### Becky J. The house is spacious, with a very large qns comfortable open plan living/dining room with lots of different sitting spaces - perfect for a large group. The heating was a total godsend given the freezing weather outside: even my 87 year old Dad felt toasty! The cottage is very well equipped for cooking and baking too, making catering for a large group easy. Our hosts (Emma and Matt) were brilliant. Lovely, welcoming and so laid back but super efficient. The setting is idyllic with easy walks out (even in the snow!) through stunning scenery. A perfect stay and would definitely come back and recommend to others. ##### Glen M.
