This is a delightful place to stay! It’s quaint, not luxurious, perfect for a road trip. Relax, soak up the view and vibes. You can tell that someone took time to make this a special spot to stay for the night. It was very clean. Yes, noisy, but it’s a roadside motel. Bring a portable noise machine. I would love to stay here again

Health safety hazard and strong odor with moldy looking wood floor. I have an impression the worst room given to Expedia users. Never had this type of bad experience in my travel experience. I hope they make changes nicer and safer for everyone. I am questioning if Expedia filters out places so users can rely on Expedia. I found the reviews were not matching with my experience at all. Did I just get screwed up because I used Expedia?

Only rated this 2 stars because we couldn’t get any heat to work in our unit. Was 58 degrees in the night. And if checking in after dark, hard to find unit for no lights on. Lobby closed and didnt want to walk in dark down to lobby door to try to find phone number to call. The actual unit was fine for 1-2 people. Very clean, bed comfy. Beautiful view to wake up to outside.

The check-in time is 4pm, we arrived early (1:30pm), we were hoping that we can drop our luggage’s and take a break after long distance driving, then go to visit some places. We saw the office door is locked, so we left and went back at 3:30pm, the door was still locked and we heard there was voice inside, I went to the window and saw a lady there, I was hoping that she can let us check in 30 minutes early, but she showed me her 4 fingers, so we had to wait outside for a half hour. Finally she let us check in at 3:58pm, we told her last name and gave her my husband’s driver’s license, but she said she can’t find our booking, we booked the room from Expedia and this never happened before, after a long time she looked at she computer, she told us that the last name and first name was switched place. It was the after Labor Day week, only 4 or 5 cars were parked in the lodge parking lot which means only had very few bookings on that day. Can’t understand why will she take so long to figure out our booking. The room is very noisy even at night because of the traffic, we had had time to fall asleep. There was a small bug on the bed under the quilt, disgusting! Will not recommend this place.

Location, views were nice. Didn’t realize checking was at 4pm we arrived at 2pm after a 7 hour drive called and asked if we could check in early and they said “No check in is at 4”. So we drove down to the lake and took a two hour nap in our car. Rooms were nice, no TV. Following day had no power from 5:30pm until we left at 6am.

Clean and comfortable no frills. My biggest disappointment was that there was no soap holder in the shower or place to put one’s shampoo and conditioner. I think it was a bit overpriced.

The hotel did not have power when we checked in, which was not their fault. However, when checking in, they said that I could cancel my reservation due to this. They instructed me to contact Expedia, who would then reach back out to the hotel for a refund. Apparently, they declined the refund when Expedia reached out to them.

Wonderful accommodation with a true lodge feel. Rustic, cabin-like experience with comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and a gorgeous sunrise over Mono Lake. Manager is very friendly and helpful. We booked a room for 4 with one bed and one futon and were surprised to have our own cabin with a full kitchen! We only booked for one night, but would definitely make a weekend out of it in the future given the proximity to Yosemite.

The only reason we stayed in mono was because we needed to be at mono lake early in the morning. But just stay in Mammoth! There was a huge narrow flight of stairs to get to our room that was on a hill with no pathway. I called and asked the front if we could switch to a room with no stairs. There was no way I could carry my luggage up them. She was rude and unhelpful. She said there were no other rooms, even though they were advertising available rooms. I was on the verge of tears but my husband carried all of our stuff up and then back down the next day. If you absolutely have to stay there make sure you are at ground level with no stairs! Also the room was so outdated that it made more sense for me to bathe in the dark then with the light because the fan made a horribly loud sound. There were signs posted all around the room about how they will charge you if you damage a towel or break their blinds etc which is never welcoming. I also never write reviews so that says a lot! O and it’s way hire than mono so you can’t just pop over their on foot and it still took 25 min to get to the south side which is where the amazing trail is of tufa.
