Whenever I’am in Lausanne and there is a need for me to stay in a hotel, my first choice is always Hotel de la Paix!… Always a pleasure!!! Unfortunately the Usually peaceful ,quiet, evenings of rest were interrupted with a fracas coming from the park situated across from the Hotel at my last stay…A group of people playing loud music singing and using vulgarities (that could clearly be heard) tarnished an otherwise “brilliant” stay at the hotel…Not to mention kept me awake..I truly hope the hotel will take the necessary steps to insure in future that guests rest is not interrupted by a situation that is manageable. Great location, hotel has no a/c

This apartment/hotel is as SUCH. Great find! We are a family of 5 - 2 adults 3 teenagers. Plenty of room! My son had a large bed in the living room (pull out sofa) then my girls had a large bed with en-suite bathroom. His ad and I had large bed with en-suite bathroom. But another bathroom in the hallway. They kept the fridge stocked with waters and apple juice and soda. Apartment also had a full kitchen- we bought breakfast food at the Coop down the street. Convenient location! Best part is they offer free laundry. We have them 2 big baskets of dirty laundry from our trip to Paris and it was returned at 3pm washed and dried and folded! Allowed us to bring half of what we would have needed to bring. Also had a private parking spot for an extra 35 chf per day. The staff is SO nice. 5 stars!

This was a great boutique hotel. It’s in the quieter area of Zermatt so you have to walk down to the main town area but that just adds to the charm! The views of the Matterhorn were amazing. The spa was lovely as well.
