You are also just a few short miles to the Mt. Springs Lodge and its many seasonal activities from snowmobile tours, Sunday Brunch, horse drawn sleigh rides, Zip Lines and much, much, more. Summer months offer you an opportunity to enjoy the pristine Lake Wenatchee State Park, and the ever-popular stocked Fish Lake's "The Cove" also just a few miles away. Boasting of territorial views both inside and outside of this home, the Peterson's Acres has 3 stories’, with its 5 bedrooms, and 3 baths. The main floor has an open concept kitchen/dining/living area for gathering round while enjoying a family meal, or a glass of wine in front of the cozy fireplace while watching the snow fall gently through the many woods wrapped picture windows. The kitchen also offers stainless steel appliances, radiant floor heating, an IPOD docking station, and breakfast bar with stools for up to 4 guests. The dining table nestled in the corner of the room seats 6\. Privy to the main floor, you will also find a full bath, and two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Upstairs, you are greeted by an open loft also boasting of view windows, a work desk, and WI-FI, along with your own master suite with king bed, and private bath with a gorgeous, tiled shower. The lower level of the home offers the perfect gaming and TV area, with DirecTV, and an array of board games, books and cards, a full bath and two bedrooms if extra privacy is needed, one with a full- and twin-size bed, and the other with a queen size bed. We enjoyed a lovely stay in this cabin in early January. The neighborhood is an easy walk into Plain for groceries, rentals, cafe . . . The cabin is absolutely lovely. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. I loved reading in the chairs upstairs in the loft with the view. My husband enjoyed sitting by the fire and cooking in the spacious kitchen. My boys enjoyed having their own rooms and the enormous TV in the basement where we enjoyed a movie each night after spending some time in the hot tub and looking at the stars. The house is remotely located quietly a bit far from Leavenworth except for the Lake Wenatchee. We really enjoyed our time here except that the hot tub didn't warm up after the first day. Wish the TV was located on the main floor. Overall, the point of this trip is to get away from the city and enjoy what PNW has to offer. I would definetely come back here again ! ##### Marion N. The "cabin" was well stocked with every plate, pan, appliance, glasses and dishes we needed to cook and feed all of us. It is quite set up for a large gathering. The arrangement of the house was well set up to provide everyone their space and it allowed for everyone to gather together. The outdoor space was very accommodating for eating dinner as well as happy hour. The beds were a little hard and the pillows were a little bit too high, however the area was ideal for a quiet sleep. The hot tub was perfect in every way, hot enough and very clean. On the main-floor bathroom I would encourage the managers to provide a non-slip surface in the shower/tub, it is quite slick. As well as a grab bar for securing a person's stability when entering and exiting that tub. My 85-year father used the main-floor bathroom and bedroom since he has mobility issues, however none of the showers in the home provide for senior needs and since the home is a great get away for a multi-generational gatherings it seemed a pity as well as a liability. We enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again. ##### Mary F. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely four nights at Peterson Acres with my my family, my brother's family and my parents. Six adults, four children (ages 1-7). This home was perfect because it offers separate sleeping areas on different floors for each family. The little ones also has a play area in the basement. Everyone had the opportunity to find a quiet place for "alone time" and it also has a great common area for "together time" :-) ##### Peter M. Reviewer Comments: We booked the Chiwawa River Cabin which was perfect for our family of four. Cozy, clean, quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed. On day 2 we had a plumbing problem. Justin was super responsive, moved us to a new cabin, and provided us with coffee/treats at the nearby coffee shop. We were very pleased with the level of customer service. Overall house is okay, if you can get past the odor coming from the first floor. There is a portion of the floor cut out and open to dirt and sewer lines with standing water.
