We enjoyed drives throughout the Black Hills. It is located in a very scenic area and is quiet and secluded. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with towels and other essentials. Groceries and other items we needed were available just a short drive away in Lead. Cell phone service was excellent but WiFi was slow. The yard (and all others on the road) could use some attention. Could just be a thing in South Dakota, but for someone that is hyper sensitive about their yard, it was difficult not to find a lawnmower and clean it up. The house had all the necessities of home which was perfect. Loved the washer and dryer. Additional seating would have been nice. We had 4 adults and 3 of us had to sit on the couch while the other had to sit in a chair in the corner. Downstairs bedroom should have a queen bed instead of a full size. Enjoyed the views and the quietness of the area. We saw deer almost every morning. Not an ideal location with a motorcycle but we made it work. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the rental. Check in process was super easy. Property Managers were very responsive to inquiries as well.
