This delightful old property in the countryside, with a welcoming host, diner was served in the garden & breakfast was very satisfying. We only stayed the one night while en-route through France, but could have stayed longer.

The hotel is in a quiet location away from the centre of town, which was exactly what we wanted, but town is just a short car ride if you need anything there. It's just a short dive into Saumur and is close to all the Loire valley attractions. We were shown to a good sized room on the ground floor overlooking a large well kept garden with a nice pond. Loved every minute of our stay, room was big and bathroom clean, pool was a nice touch with the weather being so warm, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was just as amazing as the hotel. Location was closed enough to the centre but not too close.

A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Had the most friendly of welcomes and the staff could not do enough to ensure our stay was pleasurable. A very short walk away was the town with its many restaurants and shops however there is a restaurant on site. There is secure parking or off road parking. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a wide choice of cold meat, cheese and pastries, cereals and cooked food. The coffee was excellent.

We've stayed here a few times and it is great value for money. Staff very helpful. Heated pool a real bonus and the restaurant is excellent.

Amazing to stay in a world heritage site! Especially access to the Abbey out of hours was truly memorable. My 5 year old daughter loved it

Fabulous stay in a quaint building sympathetically restored. A highly quality guesthouse and host was very welcoming. Made minor alterations to the breakfast which made our stay even better as the children happy with food choices. The host has a fab website with links to shops and restaurants and made our overnight stop incredible.
