The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and sometimes English speaking (speaking French in this part of the world helps.) Their Michelin starred restaurant is a knock-out, expensive... but that meal would cost much more elsewhere. My only real complaint: you cannot get Wifi in the hotel. The quality of the accommodation was excellent - the bathrooms were especially good and the beds comfortable - nice and firm. We also had a fantastic meal in the restaurant - the food was to die for and the service was friendly, unfussy and swift. We can highly recommend this hotel and it is very convenient for the main sights of Le Puy.
