Le P'tit Train du Nord

The room was clean, the amenities were good, The staff were not easy to converse with. The staff couldn't help us with directions or recommendations in the area in the proximity of the hotel. There were two bedrooms, a "master" and a second bedroom. The master room was large and had a double bed in it. The second bedroom was considerably smaller but had a queen size bed. The bed in the second bedroom was tight against the wall. The duvets were too large and too heavy for both sets of guests but the hotel couldn't supply us with regular blankets.

Very unique hotel in a great location in the lower old town village.

When you are in Quebec City, this is the place to stay. First, the apartment rooms are clean and spacious. These rooms have space! It's a modern place, not like an old cramped hotels in Quebec City. You can walk to the old city in about 25-30 minutes depending on where you are going or take an uber for $12-$14 when it's not rush hour. If you are concerned about the check-in process, the front staff will help you and walk you through it. I'm not that intelligent or confident using the phone process to fill out the form but I was able to do it. The apartment was well equiped with everything from detergent to dishwasher pods to towels to pots, plates and wine glasses, stove, microwave, large fridge, and everything you need if you want to cook.
