New and spacious house, 3 large bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms with Italian showers; each bedroom has a super-king bed which can also be used as twin beds; There are three living rooms, the first set with the dining room; the second upstairs with an incredible view and the third is the garden room, the perfect place to relax. The large, modern kitchen has an island for dining as well. There are two balconies in the front and behind; large terraces and a large and peaceful garden. The house is in a very quiet area but not far from St Emilion, Libourne, Bordeaux, Périgueux ; It is in the Dordogne and next to the Gironde and the Charente. La maison est très spacieuse, extrêmement confortable et très propre et est située sur un terrain de 2 hectares. Les équipements de la cuisine sont au top (cuisinière dernier cri, machine à café professionnelle, pompe à bière remplie à notre arrivée...). Chacune des 3 chambres a sa salle de bain et ses toilettes et, cerise sur le gâteau, ses propres peignoirs. La piscine est grande, très agréable et possède un local de 30m², climatisé, confortable avec jeux de piscine et jeux de société. Des vélos sont à disposition. De plus l'hospitalité de Jane et Nigel a été remarquable avec plein de petites attentions à notre arrivée (refrigérateurs avec différentes spécialités régionales en plus du lait et du beurre, bouteille de vin et différentes spécialités régionales sucrées et salées...). La maison est un peu à l'écart du village du Pizou et à 8 km de la ville de Montpon Menestérol et son fameux marché. Elle n'est située qu'à 20 km de Saint-Emilion ce qui nous a permis de visiter quelques caves. Petite mention au Château La Favière, situé à 7 km et qui fait un vin remarquable. Notre séjour à la "maison blanche" a donc été remarquable à tous points de vue. ##### guy v. Stayed 7 nights in Aug 2020 ---
