If you're looking for a traditional friendly family-run Jersey hotel, you'll really like the Norfolk.The warm welcome is there the moment you walk through the door. We paid a very fair price for our double room on second floor (via lift or stairs) which included breakfast. Room bigger than I had imagined with lots of wardrobe and cupboard storage. Town view from window with a partial view of the entrance to the Howard Davis Park. It's a spacious hotel with lots of sofas and small rooms downstairs. There was traditional entertainment in the bar every night: singers, musicians, a comedian etc. Breakfast was included in the large dining room. Maria was our very friendly waitress and it's good to have tea, coffee and toast brought to the table. There is a good choice of juices, cereals and fruit on the breakfast bar and then you put in an order for cooked or continental. You can reserve a table for the evening mea, but we ate out. There's plenty of parking for hotel guests, but we didn't hire a car as the hotel is central and there is a bus stop outside for the excellent Liberty bus service. The rose garden area outside was perfect in the hot weather while we were there and I had a couple of swims in the outdoor unheated pool. Nice hotel and rooms very spacious and clean. Unfortunately we were on the 3rd floor and the lift was broken, quite a hike!! Very noisy during weekend as guests all sat around pool area and didn’t consider other residents with noise level well into the early hours, which travelled all around, surprised residents in surrounding houses didn’t complain.was near town centre though and some really nice restaurants nearby.

Great base for exploring Jersey with the main Bus station and the center of St Helier on your doorstep.
