Very nice boutique hotel! Focused on co-working and an very social atmosphere, this one stands out on our journeys. Extremely nice family room, the kids loved their small berths! The double bed was very firm, might be a challenge for some.

We stayed one night as a family of 3 at JOST Le Havre after getting off the ferry. The check in went smoothly, the staff member very helpful. My daughter was very excited by our room with the bunk beds. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was appreciated by some Scots just arriving in France. Breakfast was adequate. The only downside was the DJ playing downstairs until quite late. We were pretty tired so fell asleep ok but I can see how it would be annoying for some.

It was only one night since we were going on a cruise. But the hotel is very close to a shopping mall, bus station. Very convenient located. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

The room was very comfortable. The front desk staff could speak enough English to make us feel welcome and to understand the breakfast information. The Food Court is huge and clean and pretty. The food is great.

This was the best hotel we stayed at. It looked amazing. Staff was friendly. The concept for food was second to none. My kids enjoyed the bedroom experience because of the bunkbeds and the location was absolutely stunning. I would definitely go back and I would highly recommend.

It is a new hotel with nice rooms. The family rooms have enough space. Only the bathroom is a little bit small. But functional for 1 night. We had a grean stay!

We had a mixed experience at the Jost Hotel Le Havre. Our family room was clean and comfortable and our two children were delighted with their bunk beds in the wall! We ate in the food court and all really enjoyed the food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The big negative for us was the music playing loudly until 2am which we could hear very clearly in our room, even though we were on the third floor! This didn’t make for a good nights sleep. We spoke to the receptionist about it and he pretty much shrugged his shoulders and said they needed to improve their noise insulation! So although some bits of our stay were good, we wouldn’t stay again. For us the noise was a real problem.

Be warned there is a night club on the ground floor of the building which plays loud music until 1-2am I stayed on a Thursday so wasn’t expecting to be kept awake by this, but alas. Just worth noting.

Room was spotless. Staff were helpful. The HVAC worked so well and sp quietly that I wasn't aware of it. The room is basic: no telephone and you need to bring a converter if you're from the States. The lighting took a bit to understand, but it is a great deal for the money.

Prepare to not sleep

Not suitable for families with young children. The food court and bar downstairs booms ridiculously loud music all the way through the evening till 2am every night! The rooms are not “soundproof” u can hear and feel the bass for hours on end and our kids couldn’t sleep. A hotel that doesn’t give you a good nights sleep cant be rated well im afraid.
