Belle résidence avec très belle piscine parfaite pour les tout petits et les nageurs (car longue). Très bien situé pour explorer le sud ouest de l'ile. Attention!! La maison était envahi pour les moustiques malgré nos précautions. Nous étions couvert de piquûres et avons du acheter des moustiquaires. La maison est à peu près conforme à la présentation mais aurait besoin d'un peu plus d'entretien (peintures, propreté) et de quelques équipements complémentaires au niveau de la cuisine (verres, couverts, hotte en état de fonctionnement) et surtout de moustiquaires pour la chambre enfants. Il est toujours délicat de faire un choix à distance, sur photos et quelques échanges de messages mais notre expérience avec Franck et la propriété de la Résidence Calypso peut vous rassurer! Dès le premier contact Franck fut à la fois très professionnel et amical, en reflet fidèle de l'esprit chaleureux martiniquais. Répondant à toutes nos questions (touristiques et pratiques) et répondant rapidement, avec même des suggestions et éléments en plus de nos questions! Sa réactivité fut la même pendant le séjour.avec le bonus des prestations d'une spécialiste du tourisme sur l'île (société HiJames, service inclu dans la location) qui nous accueilli, et donna plein de bons conseils dès notre arrivée t au fil de nos besoins et demandes spécifiques lors du séjour). Le logement en lui-même est superbement situé sur les hauteurs du village du Diamant, ce qui veut dire que depuis votre chaise longue de la piscine (GRANDE piscine, croyez-moi, je suis une inconditionnelle de la piscine!), vous avez une vue imprenable sur l'impressionnant et chargé d'histoire Rocher du Diamant, et un peu d'air ce qui n'est pas du luxe vue les températures tropicales. La résidence est calme, aucune gêne des autres résidents, bien pour les enfants (petit bassin top!) Nous avons trouvé tout ce don nous avions besoin dans le logement pour notre séjour familial (deux enfants, de 6 et 2 ans). Machine à laver toujours pratique, lave-vaisselle, et espace pour dormir confortables, avec la clim, vraiment nécessaire, en tout cas en décembre lorsque nous avons visité la Martinique. très agréable de prendre le petit déj en terrasse avant les grosses grosses chaleurs et sympa aussi de pouvoir prendre un verre sans aller trop loin, au bar: restaurant La Piscine, le bien-nommé, en bordure de la piscine de la résidence! Résidence sécurisée, avec parking privé, facile d'accès et en pleine nature (beaucoup de nature en Martinique, c'est tellement beau!). Petits supermarché d'appoint à 20min à pieds ou 5min en voiture, boulangerie en bas de la rue (5min à pieds), marché couvert polyvalent plein de vie et produits locaux à 5min et plage du Diamant 6min aussi, côté océan Atlantique donc vagues mais eau turquoise et sable noir, volcanique. Très bien située pour rejoindre les Anses d'Arlet d'un côté (puis Grande Anse, Anse Dufour, Anse Noire, et autres plages côté mer des Caraîbes, paradisiaque), ou remonter vers Fort-de-France et l'intérieur des terres volcaniques, dense végétation, ou le sud. ##### Blandine M.
