"The hotel staff were very welcoming- and so friendly and polite. The air conditioning was very efficient- and greatly needed. Breakfast was wide ranging and suited all tastes. The decoration, especially in the corridors, was a bit tired and jaded- but kept very clean. My only criticism would be the proximity of the hotel to the busy main road- which could be heard very clearly from our balcony/ garden terrace. "

"Great night at this lovely family run hotel in Barcares on our cycling trip through the area. Our room was spotless, very comfortable and had enough space for spreading out all our gear. We faced the main busy plaza overlooking the most amazing play structure for children. The noise was not a problem after about 10 PM and we used the blinds metal blinds, which helped. Our hostess even had a secure area for our bikes, very much appreciated. Thank you. We also loved the hotel's furry greeter...

"Check-in not available before 5 pm and check-out time is 10 am. These are not common times. But the worst is the heat in the room. It was so hot in the room that we could not sleep and left in the morning although we had paid for another night. The little ventilator was ridiculous and did not help at all. Staff speaks only french. At least they were trying to help. But I really think with the summer heat the rooms must be equipped with air conditioning. It’s a shame we had to cancel out weekend...

"Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la villa de Jean-Jacques. La maison est très agréable a vivre, avec sa piscine et surtout une vue imprenable sur leucate et ses environs, ce qui en fait sa force. Le terrain de pétanque est un plus dont nous avons bien profité. La maison est très bien équipée, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Points a améliorer : propreté (sols et piscine), entretien un peu global de la villa, ce sont des détails mais qui permettrait de répondre entièrement a la mention "Luxe" indiquée dans le titre de l annonce."
