Quercy farmhouse in the heart of the Lot, ideal for families with an outdoor area

Come discover the Lot region with its picturesque villages and rich architectural heritage: Lacapelle-Marival, just 3 km away, with its castle listed as a historic monument; Rudelle and its distinctive church; and other well-known sites (Rocamadour, Saint-Cyr-Lapopie, Figeac...)—and you’ll also be close to the Cantal, Aveyron, and Dordogne regions, all about an hour’s drive away.

You can relax in the cool comfort of this former barn dating from 1816, converted into a holiday rental, located in the village of Le Bourg, home to a church and a bakery-pastry shop not far from our rental, as well as other local producers.

You can also explore the surrounding trails on foot, by bike, or on a mountain bike for the more adventurous, or simply relax outdoors in the sun or shade, whichever you prefer, after your daily excursions. The Lot region is indeed rich and varied, featuring caves and chasms (Padirac being the best known, 45 minutes away, as well as Pech Merle...) as well as dolmens and menhirs (Pierre Martine in Livernon, 10 minutes away...) and the characteristic villages of the Quercy region.

You can also relax after your excursions in the shared swimming pool—subject to the owner’s approval—located 200 metres from the rental.
There is parking for three vehicles at the cottage. The rental is ground-floor accessible and features a living room with an open kitchen. There is a dining area, a lounge area with a TV, Wi-Fi access in every room, and the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, electric hob, combination microwave-oven, and dishwasher.

A bedroom with a double bed, a desk, and a closet is located on the ground floor, along with a bathroom featuring two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a toilet. There is a laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board, and iron, as well as a storage area under the stairs for your belongings. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible.

Upstairs, there is a closet and two bedrooms, each with its own sliding wardrobe. One bedroom has a double bed with a view of the surrounding countryside and the village church in the background; the other has two single beds. A bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet is also located upstairs.

You can walk to the village bakery and pastry shop (300 metres) as well as to the village centre to explore the narrow streets, the church, and local vendors (pottery, cookies, fruits and vegetables on Sundays, pizza on Wednesdays). Larger stores and supermarkets are available in Lacapelle-Marival (3 km) or Figeac and Gramat (18 and 15 km).

The lower level of the barn can also be used to store items such as a caravan, mountain bikes, or other equipment.
