This is a really beautiful place! You feel like you're in the country and yet only about 15 minutes or so drive to Santiago de Compostela. But the best part was how gracious, friendly, and helpful our hosts, Julia and Julio were! Just a precaution if you have a mid to large size car, parking is really tight, but driving around the area, that seems to be the norm so definitely don't let that deter you from staying at this beautiful place!

Wonderful old grist mill. Wonderful grounds to walk on. Evening meal was easily 3-4 star Michelin rating. Breakfast buffet was excellent but the cook would also cook a breakfast to order. Then to top it off they drove us back to our drop off point.

Well located apartment, clean and organised. My only complaint would be the inability to check in beforehand and the company didn't reply to any of my messages. However, when we arrived and checked in at the hotel around the corner, the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

"Our room was spotless and all of the staff were wonderful, accommodating and very friendly. A short walk (3minutes) and your feet are on a white sand beach. Had a great meal at Mareas Vivas just up the road. Hotel Laxe is the perfect spot to spend a few days exploring the Costa da Morte!"
