"We stayed in this hotel 10 years ago and it was incredible. We were concerned it had changed hands. At first we were disappointed. We were charged 10 euros per night to park our car!! The check in process was confusing as the only way we could contact the staff was by whatsapp. We warmed to the hotel - the breakfasts were excellent and the dinner very good"

"This was the second occasion we visited this hotel prior to getting the ferry in Santander, which is a short 17 mins drive away. We found the hotel extremely well run by very friendly staff and, fortunately for us, all the reception staff spoke very good English. Our booking included a continental breakfast, an optional extra for an evening meal was an open buffet. This was very reasonably priced with a wide choice, and we would thoroughly recommend it. Will definitely us visit again in the future. Extremely good value all round "

"Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room. We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance. The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"

Secure underground parking free of charge . Quality and quantity of breakfast included in the rate . Room size . Bathroom size and complimentary spa quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc. . Quiet . Pet friendly . Local restaurants and supermarket within walking distance . Pleasant bar area … able to sit on the terrace with our dog Cons : . Room service has limited menu and is not served until 2030 hours Biggest Con: . Air conditioning is switched off centrally between the hours of 0100 and 0700 The biggest con spoiled our stay as the room was over hot and we were unable to sleep."
