We absolutely loved The Artistry. It was very cute and extremely clean. All furnishings were very comfortable. The location is perfect and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. I highly recommend staying at The Artistry to anyone visiting Laurel.
The suite was stylish, pleasant, roomy and comfortable. It is nicely appointed with everything you need for a night or a week. Great outdoor deck. Its right in the middle of downtown Larel and close to everything.
My wife and I love the show Home Town and this did not disappoint. Great accommodations especially if you appreciate architecture and history. Top notch location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. We soaked in all of the Home Town locations and had lunch at Miss Pearls. That is a must for sure. Overall great time and location. Don't forget to stop in to the Hell Fighters Motorcycle Club. Its not what you think and you wont be disappointed.
I loved the character of the room. It was clean and comfortable. We were just a block from downtown and walked to it often. Restaurants were convenient and the pizza restaurant below was excellent. I will be happy to stay here again.
The stay started off a little rocky with a clunky check-in process, but we forgot about that as soon as we walked into our room. Such a unique and well renovated space. The space was roomy and comfortable. It was good for our overnight stay, but would be suitable for a longer stay as well. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, and we enjoyed the functional closet/halltree. We also appreciated the lack of sound transfer between rooms. We couldn't tell there were other people staying in the other rooms until we walked into the common space, which we very much appreciated. The porch is wonderful as well. Location is excellent, right in the middle of downtown.Only other negative is the shared entrance with restaurant staff, but everyone was very nice. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication
Plus:1) Location is good (city experience)2) appearance is attractive. High ceilings, brick walls, nice furniture, hardwood floors. 3) Patio is spacious with nice furniture Minus1) Blood stains on mattress pad. Sheets also had stains. 2) Nail head sticking up from the floor on right side of bed (stepped on it twice). 3) Despite the nice deck/patio, it was basically unusable through most of our stay. The unit is over a pizza restaurant. Its AC unit and ventilation unit are right below the deck. They were so loud that it’s hard to carry on a conversation. The deck also vibrates and is adjacent to a dumpster and filthy alley which you can sometimes smell. 4) There was no parking near the unit the night we arrived (Saturday). We had to park in a dark area and walk quite a distance with our luggage. Note: Access to the unit is stairs only. 5) Wood strip on the bottom of patio door is falling off and drags.6) The TV which might have been mounted on the wall at one time now sits on a bar (with stools), so there is no place to eat except the upholstered furniture or deck (see #3 above). 7) Only one wine glass in the kitchen, very little silverware, and no sharp knives (e.g., no paring knife to cut up fruit). 8) No kleenex provided in the unit 9) Air intake in kitchen is caked with dirt 10) Guests are asked to launder their own towels and run the dishwasher upon departure, but no instructions. So no way to guarantee towels washed in hot water.
