Charming Bungalow in Historic Laurel, Pet Friendly
Welcome to The Blue Bungalow, a beautiful Laurel property nestled in the neighborhood of HGTV's Hometown. When you're not relaxing in the luxurious comfort of this stylish home, you can enjoy strolling through the area to see the well-known homes renovated on the show. The Historic District is just a mile away, as are several other attractions.
The Blue Bungalow was built in the 1940s and this house is a part of the revitalization of Laurel. It still has the original bones of the house including original hardwood floors, exterior siding, and many of the original interior wall panels. When doing the renovation we kept it as true to the original house as possible. Although this particular house was not renovated on the show it is surrounded by many of the houses that Ben and Erin have flipped.
The entire house is yours while you relax and enjoy our beautiful city.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
The two redesigned bedrooms offer a calming way to unwind after a busy day exploring Laurel's historic downtown. The first bedroom has a luxurious King bed, original hardwood floors, handcrafted furniture, and large windows.
The second bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed, two bedside tables, and a plush area rug. Small details in both bedrooms like the ship-lapped walls, cozy accents, and natural sunlight make both bedrooms a warm and welcome retreat from the rest of the home.
☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆
Like many homes built during this time, it features one full bathroom. This space has been revamped with elegant details and has a tub/shower combo, a mirrored vanity, and plenty of high-end towels.
☆☆ KITCHEN & GREAT ROOM ☆☆
The sunny kitchen is the heart of the home and combines original elements with sleek modern finishes. The warm colors, the natural sunlight, and the modern appliances make this a stylish and convenient place to make meals and enjoy them as a family.
Start your morning on the right note with freshly brewed coffee from the coffee maker and enjoy it out on the porch. At meal times, have a field day with the microwave and stove to put together quick snacks to full meals.
The expansive counters provide plenty of room for meal prep. You'll find the drawers are full of utensils and kitchen gadgets, and the open shelves are stocked with cups, plates, wine glasses, and tableware.
You can serve a family-style meal on the dining table with seating for four. When you're not eating here, this table is the perfect place to open up your laptop, connect to the WiFi and get some work done.
The great room is bright and airy with high-end furniture, leafy houseplants, cozy decor, and an impressive flat-screen TV. Settle into the deep blue sofa or kick back in the oversized armchair, and pull a footrest from under the coffee table to elevate your feet. A large window overlooks the front yard, filling the living room with sunlight.
☆☆ OUTSIDE SPACE ☆☆
This cozy bungalow gives you two great options when you want to spend some time outside. The first is a shady front porch that looks out over the neighborhood and front yard. Complete with comfortable lounge furniture, this is a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning or read a book in the shade.
The back patio also has comfortable outdoor lounge furniture and a view of the big private backyard. The fire pit is just waiting to be a part of your evening routine with smores and hearty conversation. The yard is dotted with mature shade trees and expertly landscaped to give it a homey feel.
