Diana and Barry have thought of everything for a very comfortable stay. We were provided a cheese platter because we booked 3 nights. Diana and Barry are wonderful hosts with the place set in an enchanting garden. It was a 2 minute drive to Cataract Gorge which is a must do while here. Also nice access to driving the Tamar Valley for for touring. Diana is a very thoughtful and warm host and has also put a lot of thought and empathy into putting together the accommodation. It is a self contained cottage in the back of a yard in a quiet street - so extremely peaceful and nice views out each window. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and spacious but Diana also offers a good list of local restaurants. Honestly the provisions that were supplied could have kept us fed for a couple of days and all of very high quality. The bedroom is spacious, airy and the bed very comfortable with a small but well laid out bathroom. Lots of great touches to make your stay comfortable. We didn't want to leave. Everything was immaculately spotless. Topiary Haven is truly a haven - a modern, spacious, beautifully equipped little 'home' away from home. It's quiet, clean & super comfortable & you really do have to see it to believe it. Wonderful hosts who provided a welcoming cheese platter and an excellent choice of local wines to purchase at sale prices. It was the home (I would like to have) away from home. We loved our stay over winter. The electric blanket was so appreciated, and it made for a great nights sleep. Everything you could want was there for breakfast, and the hosts were sweet and helpful. Free wifi was also a welcome addition to our stay, being able to update friends and family easily made our stay far more enjoyable. The owners had thought of everything and we really didn't need to take much in with us. The accommodation is lovely and very comfortable.
