Comfortable stay

Had a good stay at Highbury close to Festivale and the city. Apartment 6 was comfortable with a great view from the deck.

All aspects of this property are STUNNING. Apt. 2 has views of the Tamer & city looking down. Clean, comfortable & always will choose to stay here.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was just perfect for what we wanted. It was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast foods, milk, tea & coffee were also provided. The location is also great, set high on a hill with fabulous views of the city. Thanks to Kate for everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice apartment right in the centre of town

Nice apartment in heart of Launceston, walking distance to most restaurants and parks, the hill is a killer to walk up though! There was professional cleaning being done in the apartment upstairs on one day which was quite noisy, and the chairs in the lounge room look nice but are not very comfortable. Other than that definitely recommend!

Location: Lovely on the hill with nice view from the sun room. Apartment is nice old English style but bedrooms could have an updated beds of better quality and comfort. Dusty bed heads with spider web along the bedside tables. Very small bathroom with spider and web around the clean brush holder.

Spacious appartment close to the CBD

Great location. Comfortable appartment. Plenty of space for the kids to relax. Good wifi connection. Walking distance to some great little restaurants and supermarket. The continental breakfast was beyond expectations.

Could be better.

Our stay at apartment 6 for four nights was barely warm enough with the small electric heater and an unfortunate cold draught coming through the French doors. A chair with a blanket propped against it helped a little. Electric blankets on the bed were appreciated and the bathroom was modern with heated towel rail and a large shower. The apartment is spacious and some breakfast supplies were provided for the first night only. The outside staircase needs addressing, with nighttime access poorly illuminated and timber steps in worn condition. Carrying suitcases up two flights in the rain is not easy. Having said this, the view in fine weather from the balcony would be worth the climb.

Launceston

Lovely location. Warm and cosy. Second bedroom could have an updated bed, perhaps a king single and of better quality and comfort. No towels, and although the host came by with 2 towels it was inconvenient and extra towels would have been appreciated.

Spacious, quiet and good value for family visit.

The apartment was very clean and neat. It was good value for 2 bedrooms. We were very comfortable. It is a walk to restaurants but area felt quite safe. Only issue was the steep stairs to the 2nd floor made my elderly mother a little anxious but outside lighting was good. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer. I would stay again.

Architecturally typical Launceston

Really roomy 2 bedroom apartment, lounge, kitchen, dining, balcony, 15 foot ceilings, elevated views over the city, close handy to shops, restaurants. A good place to stay, enjoyed the experience.

A nice place that could be a lot better

The photos depict a lovely apartment, but unit 6 is a bit disappointing in reality. The tv was small and positioned so that it could only be viewed from one couch. The balcony at the front was great to see the view of the city. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and in need of an under-blanket for cushioning. Overall the amenities were good, including provisions for breakfast. With a few minor modifications, this apartment could be fantastic!
