8.8/10 Excellent! (1,011 reviews)
We stayed here last year and had such a wonderful, accommodating experience that booking again near the airport with my two young children felt like an easy choice. Sadly, this visit was a complete contrast to our first. The customer service was far from what we previously enjoyed, the staff came across as quite rude and unhelpful, which makes travelling solo with two little ones much more stressful. The room itself was nowhere near as clean as it should have been. It visibly needed a proper vacuum and thorough dusting, and it felt neglected. On top of that: The TV wouldn't work properly: We couldn't connect or put anything on to keep the kids entertained after travel. Missing amenities: The refreshment tray had sugar packets, but zero tea or coffee provided. On a positive note, the restaurant was just as good as we remembered, and the food was great. However, given the lack of cleanliness, basic room maintenance, and unwelcoming attitude from the staff, the overall experience this time around fell well short of expectations.

"Zonar Zagreb is a nice hotel. The concept is definitely eclectic and borders on “weird,” but we’re not ones to judge that, and we actually enjoyed that aspect of the hotel. We also really enjoyed the gym, and the bed was comfortable. That said, there were a few hiccups during our stay. Upon arrival, ..."
