Thank you for staying with us! - We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy our home. We have created a vintage theme that most guests find charming! The furniture was handpicked specifically to represent different eras, so some of the furniture is 40-50+ years old! We have no knowledge of a residing smell in the home, however, we do keep the vintage furniture very clean! In Addition, the couches and mattresses are all newer. - We're sorry you found certain areas of the home to be unclean. We apologize for this as we have the home professionally cleaned in between each guest's stay, however, we do understand certain things were missed. We did look at the vents and found them to be neglected, so we will have our housekeeper pay closer attention to them more frequently. We also clean the carpets regularly, but with lodging that serves many guests per month, this stay fell in between regular steam cleanings, and we apologize if there were any spots that were unkempt. We will be reaching out to our team to set forth better cleaning practices as this is important to us. - We're sorry the washing machine was malfunctioning throughout your stay. Our washing machine is less than two years old, so we are unsure as to why it is having issues, however, we have called an appliance technician to check it out, so that it can be repaired. Thank you for letting us know about this issue. - We have not had previous complaints of pests, nor have we noticed any evidence of them, but we will undoubtedly have our exterminators look into this! Hi Renae, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We use an air freshener to keep the home pleasant, but we've lowered the setting and moved it to a more inconspicuous area. - We assess all outdoor amenities at the beginning of Spring for any necessary replacements, and we'll make sure to take care of the outdoor games. - We note that the pool is not heated in the listing description, and because Las Vegas can be chilly in the Spring months, it depends on guests' preferences whether they want to swim. - We accurately advertise that there's no dishwasher and one TV at the property. With an older home, the space was not configured for these items. - We didn't know about the noisiness of the microwave - we'll check it out and buy a replacement.
