So as we first checked in, the staff at the registration decreased by half as the line grew. I understand breaks and work schedules, but they went from 6 to 3 and the line was very long. Then once I finally got to the desk, after using a kiosk to register, the receipt said to go to front desk for important information and coupons. After waiting in the line, the person I spoke to was so rude, and said he had nothing for me and that he didn't know what I was talking about. I tried to show him the sheet from the kiosk, and he looked over me and called the next person. As we found the elevators, some people were waiting there and warned us not to get on the open elevator because it only went to the 8th floor and would leave us there with doors opening and closing repeatedly. We learned later on a down trip, this was true. The one on opposite side, did the same on the 17th and 14th floors. They also wished us luck with having hot water on the 19th floor, they stated they had none for 2 days. This was not true for us, we did have hot water. The one positive of everything with the registration, due to weather concerns, we were forced to stay an additional night. The front desk person I spoke with then was very helpful and set the entire thing up for us. But word of our extra night never made it to the housekeeping as our room did not get made up until after a couple of phone calls requesting service and explaining that we had previously extended our stay.
