Last Minute Booking Life-Saver
Due to no fault of this owner, another booking fell through on VRBO and our group was forced to scramble to find alternative lodging in a short period of time. Grateful that it was available and for Valerie's communication with us throughout.
Pros:
Neighborhood location convenient driving distance to coffee shops/basic grocery stores
Private pool and ample pool towels
Oversized washer/dryer with provided detergent
Large dining table for our group to play board games
Second table in kitchen for small meals
Reimbursed for refilling the propane tank (not all owners do this, thanks Valerie!)
Plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen
Space in garage to park a vehicle
Minor Inconveniences:
No plug for the upstairs hall combo bath/tub to be found, primary suite's bath had to be used to give child a bath
Wifi was inconsistent during peak non-business hours (weekends, weekday evenings)
No baking sheets in the kitchen, found work arounds using the supplied baking pans
Floors were not visibly dirty but did leave our feet/socks soiled
Cons:
Dishwasher was not effective, we hand washed many of our items
Coffee maker was small (2cups) for our 5 coffee-drinking members
Twin beds on creaky frames, appeared to be old spring mattress/box frame combos
Primary suite's mattress seemed to be near end of life and reportedly not as comfortable as the twin rollaway
