The outdoor BBQ area was a highlight—very clean with plenty of seating, making it perfect for relaxed family dinners outside. There were also activities available, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we’d happily stay again." I’ve stayed here twice now. The first visit was excellent, with a much better room, while the second stay was a little more mixed. The shower could definitely use some maintenance, and unfortunately the dryers in the laundry didn’t seem to work very well. That said, the accommodation is fairly basic, but it’s clean and perfectly adequate for a comfortable place to rest your head." I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary.
