This place should be shut down - forget about the reasonable price because when a property is this run down they shouldn't be taking anyone's money! It was dirty and poorly equipped and l am surprised it would pass health and safety regulations. We were booked for two nights but only tolerated one and that was because it was too late to cancel. It's an utter disgrace.

Wonderful hotel, attentive staff, great location, very good value for a 4/6 bed suite, ideal for a family, spa facilities were excellent, indoor and outdoor pool, less than a ten minutes walk to a fantastic beach, Biarritz only 15 minutes drive away, also local buses just outside of the hotel. Local shops a short walk away. It is located on a golf course, we do not golf but the bonus was that it is set in beautiful grounds.

The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us.

"La maison idéale sur une semaine de canicule, des murs épais, un jardin arboré , une piscine et un gave à 500 mètres. Excellent communication avec Fabienne et Lucien. La maison est à quelques kilomètres de village comme sauveterre et surtout salies pour y passer un moment."

"stayed two nights to tour the local area, dirty room and shreaded bed sheets awated us and matress springs that scratch your back, food was okay but in short order and the pub had no beers. it was cheap and just about cheer full, but not a place i would suggest you go to, also had a free wifi system ..."
