We had a mixed experience at this hotel, with some positive aspects but also some very frustrating issues.
The biggest problem was the room. We booked and paid for a room advertised with a balcony, but upon arrival we were told that the room we had booked simply did not exist. What was most disappointing was how the hotel handled the situation. They did not offer any solution, complimentary service, or compensation, and instead blamed Expedia. Fortunately, we contacted Expedia, and they were excellent, doing everything possible to help us resolve the issue.
The room itself was okay and had a decent view, but there was quite a lot of dust, the bathroom sink kept getting clogged, and the shower pressure was very poor. We also had to deal with the hotel trying to charge us again for breakfast, even though we had already paid for it.
The bar staff were always lovely and attentive, while the reception staff often seemed as though helping guests was a favour.
On the positive side, the hotel is large and spacious, with an excellent location close to the beaches and city centre. The spa is fantastic and has a wonderful view. I also had a massage with Natasha, which I highly recommend.
Overall, the balcony issue was by far our biggest disappointment. Despite this, we would consider staying again because of the great location and excellent spa, but we hope the hotel improves its customer service and how it handles mistakes.

"Mold on walls. No towels provided and when asked the staff said there were no towels in the hotel. Dirty bathroom. Very thin walls meaning we could here everything from the next room."
