The owner and her son are extremely kind and welcoming, making you feel like you are part of the family! The place is quiet and in a great location to explore the nearby turistic attractions like the Dali museum and Cadaques. The place itself it’s really nice and very good for families with children. We had a wonderful time there and recommend it 100% !

Beautifully refurbished, good service. Self check in was easy. Nice feel to the building and the town. Breakfast was at a restaurant nearby, less than 5 minutes walk.

Great location just a short walk from the station. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, letting us check in early and leave our bags. Room was clean and modern, with a great shower and air con. A fantastic find, we would definitely return.

Wonderfully quirky house with amazing decorations. Despite its central location it has a very quiet location in a side street and it’s own private parking. We were made to feel at home and the breakfasts were excellent. Would very much recommend to anyone looking for a wonderfully original experience.

Belesta is a very small village, near Perpignan but feels quite remote and wild, very quiet but a lovely base to explore from - exceptional rooms and exceptional food.

As seasoned independent travellers we were delighted to discover this truly stylish, traditional small French hotel in the middle of vibrant Montpellier. The staff were very helpful and friendly and waited on us with efficent good humour. We had a superior room with a brand new bathroom and comfortable king size bed. We stayed for 3 nights as part of a fly drive across Southern France and chose it because of having parking and close to a town so we'd have somewhere to walk around in the evening. We struck lucky as the setting was tranquil and the room was beautiful, clean and well insulated. On top of that we had a balcony overlooking the garden, so were able to see the river and had a whirlpool bath, which was a welcome relief after a long day travelling. We stayed at the Kyriad, Perpignan Sud on our way through France to Spain. The reception was friendly and helpful. Reception closs at 11pm and the gates are locked though I gather access is facilitated by your room key. The back pedestrian gate remained open all night. There is no restaurant but a 10% discount is available at the nearby Hippopotamus restaurant and the Buffalo restaurant. Breakfast is available for 10 euro each, we didn't take this ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay the Hotel le Catalan. It is a beautiful hotel up on a hill with magnificent views of the lovely town and sea. The front desk employee Valerie was delightful and very helpful. She was very patient with my high school level French so I got to practice it. The rooms with sea views are spectacular. The restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. It's also a 15 minute walk down some small streets and stairs to the beautiful town center. All in all a delightful stay.

We chose the hotel because it offered breakfast as part of the deal. When we got there we discovered it was a very remote (quiet) rural, converted farmhouse offering modern room facilities and excellent breakfast. It also had an outdoor, unheated, swimming pool, horses to ride and staff who could not do enough for us.
