Cottage #1 Fisherman's Landing / 1-Bed Fishing Cottage w/Covered Boat Shelter"

Fisherman's Landing Cottage #1 ~located right off of AL Highway 67 in Langston, AL less than 1 mile from one the nicest boat launches (South Sauty Creek) around on Lake Guntersville.

Come and sit on the porch to start your day with coffee and listen to the birds. Coming to Guntersville to fish, hunt, hike, see the bald eagles, or just relax and unplug? This is the place for you.

Our cozy cottage has 456 square feet that takes you back to simpler times. It is equipped with 1 bedroom (Queen Bed) and 1 full size bathroom that sleep up to 2 adults. You'll have your very own kitchen, full size washer and dryer, and living room to relax and watch tv.

We now have wifi for your convenience.

You'll also have a 16' x 36' covered shelter to park your vehicle or your boat. It is equipped with lights and electrical and water hook ups.

You'll have access to the Fisherman's Landing pavilion where you can hang out and relax or enjoy your dinner on at one of our picnic tables. You will also be able to use our fish cleaning station while staying with us.

What we provide: We provide all bed linens and towels for you during your stay. We also provide you with a basic starter set of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, trash bag, and laundry detergent. If you are staying for multiple day you will want to bring some extra supplies with you.

The cabin was very clean, with everything you need. It rained just about every minute I was there, but spent a lot of time on the front porch looking at the river and trees. It’s a very relaxing experience. The store/cafe is very close and I will definitely be coming back!Thanks so much!

Heating/Air units inside were really dust covered. Unit smelled musty. This location is extremely remote, not close not convenient to anything, but mainly is very isolated. I really feel like it should give you some indication of all of these things but at a minimum the remoteness and isolation of the location.

Nice cabin, linens just need cleaned.

The only issue we had was with the dirty sheets and bedspread. Upon pulling back the covers, we found either grass or dirt. The bedspread had some stains on it. We washed them and the problem was solved. Otherwise the cabin was clean and well kept. The location to the lake is amazing. Ben was very responsive when emailed. It is priced great, so all in all, it is a wonderful place to stay.
