About this property

Work or Play this is your Home Away

  • This is a newly renovated private studio above our garage. It has a key less private entry. Plenty of parking. There is also a balcony that overlooks our backyard that has a pond! We live in the house next door and are there is you need ANYTHING at all or to answer any questions you may have! We live within walking distance to stores and restaurants! There is also a nice park 5 min drive away! This studio is 20 min away from New Era Field and 20 Min drive from the City of Buffalo! Niagara Falls (a MUST SEE) is approximately 40 min drive! The village of East Aurora that is very quaint and has a lot of nice shops and a variety of places to eat is located 18 min away! We look forward to you staying with us!!

We went for the solar eclipse which turned out to be a dud. What wasn't a dud was the property in which we stayed. It was clean, stocked, and well maintained. Communicating with the owner was a breeze. I defiantly would stay there again if I was ever in the area.

Fabulous in every way!

This is our second stay and it couldn’t have gone smoother! We come to Lancaster to visit family and it gets VERY crowded at their house so it is Heaven to have our own space that is clean and spacious. The owners are extremely respectful of our privacy and we didn’t even notice the space was attached to theirs. Using the keypad to come and go and having clear instructions on where to park ahead of time made it possible to freely use the space on our schedule. The temperature was perfect and bedding just right and comfy mattress! Even though there is no stove the kitchen was well equipped and having a few bottled waters for us was super handy. Having a washer and dryer in the BEAUTIFUL bathroom is convenient and having some pods available and extra tissue meant no extra trips to the store which happens to be right across the street and even a Tim Hortons steps away! Thank you for another perfect stay!

The room was very large, super clean, comfortable bed (standard size), in a lovely neighborhood with stores, restaurants near by. Parking was easy and close to door. A problem coming in was a very steep staircase,to the second floor with narrow risers and cleaning supplies outside the door on a narrow landing. Room was furnished nicely and only problem was one very small closet filled with superfluous clutter that had to be removed before it was usable. Odd heating/cooling system, TV operation, coffee maker and no instructions on how to use them. Kitchenette well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment and some basic food supplies. Lovely view of the backyard with pond and grassy lawn from a deck.

This is a very unusual house on a beautiful lot. Initially, we were put off by the limited kitchen equipment, but most of our meals were with family and friends, anyway. The efficiency of the layout and the furnishings were excellent for our needs, and its location made visits and activities easily accessible.

Aurora Street Lancaster New York

This studio apartment was just like the picture, what was advertised is what it looked like. Hosts had a book they made up of information, restaurants, things to do, stores and more. The host assisted us with our bags and welcomed us. If we needed anything they were available 24/7. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay with them again. If you are coming to the Buffalo area, I recommend staying with them.
