The Glen Guest House, Well what caan I say, our stay was amazing from start to finish, The welcome we received was lovely and very welcoming, got shown to our room, again beautiful room, Beakfast next morning was very filling and cooked to perfection, Highly recommend a stay here,

Weekend away
Lovely B&B, close to the shore but still lovely and quiet. Less than 20 min walk to the tower and close to the pleasure beach fair. John the owner was lovely and friendly, always happy to chat and provide tips of where to go. Food was lovely also. Just all in all a lovy B&B will definitely stay again and recommend 👌

Had a great weekend at Glen House, everthing we could ask for in our room ie tea/coffee facility's bottled water, toiletrys in shower room, breakfast was delicious nothing to much trouble during our stay, very central 2 mins walk to sea front, would not hesitate to stay again.

Rooms lovely. Beds very comfy and quality bedding and duvets and pillows. Room provided everything needed and good standard. Hosts were fantastic always around for a chat or advice. Breakfast was lovely quality ingredients. On site free parking. Would return next time

Better than your average blackpool stay. Everything is in working order and of good quality, anything you might need is supplied and John the owner is always available and happy to help & provide advice about where to go.

Perfect stay.
Amazing stay. The room was very clean and came with loads of little extras to make the stay even better. Both hosts where lovely and more than happy to help with anything. The guest house was also in a great location within walking distance of all main attractions in Blackpool.

The Glen
We had a fantastic couple of days at The Glen Guest House. John, the landlord, was welcoming and really put us at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and great location, not to mention the on site parking. Highly recommended.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. Owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Property was clean and tidy. Rooms were great. Breakfast was excellent and great location to access Blackpool's amenities. I would recommend and stay there again.

Nice owner, great hospitality, great breakfast and comfortable bed. Room very clean and great location including parking. Only disappointed with the quality of the DIY bad tiling and tile grouting rough, poor beading in bathroom, badly fitted carpet. Overall great I would reccomend and stay again.

Recently stayed at the Glen guest house for the International soul festival. John the owner is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean, nicely decorated, well stocked with goodies (shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, slippers dressing gowns).Bottles of water, tea and coffee in the room and top up daily. John serves a fantastic full English breakfast alongside lots of choice in cereals, fruit, yogurts. The accommodation is a 15 minute walk to the Winter Garden alongside the seafront. Plenty of trams and bus at the end of the street. I would recommend this guest house to friends and families. We would certainly book this again.

We cannot recommend The Glen Guest House enough!
The Glen Guest House was immaculately clean with a beautiful room. The fresh cooked to order breakfast was delicious and there were many additional touches that weren't expected such as a fully stocked bathroom, DVD's/books and even a box of chocolates on arrival. John was the perfect host and couldn't do enough to make the two night stay more enjoyable and comfortable - any future visits to Blackpool will be booked around the availability of a room here.

A little hidden gem only a minute from the sea front and central for everything. John the host was really friendly and helpful the room was spotless and plenty of choice for breakfast. Would defiantly recommend to everyone and would book again.

Loved the glen
My husband and I decided last minute to go to Blackpool for the pleasure beach, some guest houses you would expect to cater for stags and hens, the glen is different, it's chic style and johns attention to detail is second to none, robes and slippers in the room for our comfort, chocolates on the bed, we visited at the time of the water treatment plant issue and coming from Scotland had no idea to bring bottled water till it was too late, no worries though john had extra in the room for us and explained the problem. The breakfast was made to order and if there was something not in the full English breakfast menu there was no issue to get it, all In all a fantastic getaway just off the promenade and with parking which is a bonus. Made to feel so welcome and would definitely stay again.

This is a nice hotel I found it very pleasant stay.if I was to visit again the only thing I would like to do is go for a bigger more roomy room.no disrespect to the hotel just a preference of mine as I feel closraphobic in small places.but I was out and about all day so was nice to jump into big double bed for the night.

Booked a weekend trip to Blackpool to watch Peter Kay. A lovely guest house. Fabulous breakfast and owner very helpful nothing too much trouble. Everything you could want from a guest house and more, from toiletries to dressing gown and slippers. Would definitely recommend. Look forward to staying again.

Big Al's Peter Kay weekend
A very enjoyable weekend. The room was spotlessly clean and the landlord was very friendly, even though we did not arrive till late due to the motorway being closed, he still had a smile for our welcome. Very impressed with the little touches, the box of chocolates left as a welcome gift, together with guest slippers and bath robes. Added to that a really well cooked breakfast, where nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this guest house and believe me my wife is really particular and she was well impressed. We will definately go again. It is nicely placed too, within walking distance of town centre, the Winter Gardens and the Tower. Overall a really good experience.
