Quaint, traditionally run b&b
Ivan is a great friendly host, the hotel is a quaint traditional hotel. We stayed overnight and were made to feel welcome. Good breakfast too

From booking in to leaving, couldn't fault the host, Ivan, nothing was too much trouble. He is a very attentive host, impeccable cleanliness, excellent service and very good food, such a friendly atmosphere.

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was tired and very small. The breakfast was great and plentyful. The owners were very helpful and pleasant.

Exceeded expectation
Spacious, well-presented room, with comfortable beds and sea view. Warm welcome from host and generous, well-cooked breakfast. Great location, and free parking on hand. Competitively priced. Will look to return for our next trip.

The owners are very friendly and have great knowledge of the area, they made us feel very welcome. The B&B is clean & the breakfast is really good, so much choice and they cater for vegetarians...would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hotel with great staff!
Ivan and the team were fantastic - very helpful on arrival, showing us to our room and the different features. Very clean in the room and throughout the hotel, and the breakfast was delicious! Really couldn't fault it, highly recommend to others

Great location next to sea front ,good value for money. Excellent choice for breakfast and the manager was brilliant to chat with , he was informative and could remember a lot of the history of Blackpool. I will definitely stay again .

Good hotel in good quiet location
The hotel is not a five star boutique if there are such things. This hotel is owned and operated by nice, genuine people who go the extra mile for their customers. I have stayed in many hotels throughout the country and Europe for work and have not often seen hoteliers that go to such lengths to look after their customers. Breakfast was very nice and was better and served hotter than the breakfasts we had paid £25 for the previous weekend.

Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till the day we left, Ivan was such a great host, he's full of laughter and makes time for all his guests, the breakfasts at amazing as are the evening meals, I can honestly say I would be back at the derby hotel again and would highly recommend it. Brilliant place to stay!!
Lovely, very welcoming guest house run fantasticly by staff. Spotlessly clean rooms and beautiful breakfast with lots of choice. Brilliant location and value for money. Will be staying again and would definately reccommend!

Handy for Gents Casino, Glyn Sq area, Dickson rd etc. Parking around the hotel was just ok,we got the last spot. Breakfast was up to 9.15, no good for late night party people lol, but i made it,and it was very good.

Just a quick overnight trip....location is a bit out of the way than we normally have. But not a bad thing as its quieter....10 min walk into town.....good hosts. Good hotel.....rooms good.. Will be back

Great service and a lovely place to stay
Friendly and welcoming personality and a well kept, clean room. We stayed the night before I ran the Blackpool marathon and our host was very accommodating. Breakfast was great, and the beds comfy. Great location a short walk from the North Pier and right next to the beach. We'd definitely stay again.

Warm and friendly host, breakfast great. Hotel a little dated and could do with a bit of tlc but for what we paid it was adequate. Parking facilities good. Web picture could do with updating, we were looking for a hotel with a blue painted frontage when it fact it's yellow.

Stayed as going to sisters party at the very expensive imperial next door..... Arrived, got ready, 5 hours sleep, breakfast and left. Clean and comfortable room, breakfast that would rival any big hotel and exceptionally friendly staff. Outstanding value for money

Highly recommended!
The hotel's owners, Ivan and Tim, are really friendly and welcoming. Our family room was quite small but perfectly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful-a great choice of everything you can imagine including fresh fruit. Very conveniently situated for all attractions. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Really pleased Ivan let us park on the drive. Hadn't realized it was the last weekend of the alluminations so very busy everywhere. Was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the ensuite but the breakfast made up for it.

we stayed at the derby hotel for 2 nights ivan and tim the hoasts we exellent nothing was to much trouble and the food was spot on we will be going back again next year if not soomer we would recomend the derby hotel to family and friends

we found this a very nice b&b compared to some of the places we have stayed in in blackpool before, the rooms were tidy n modern, the manager was very friendly. The onlky thing is with this been on the north pier it is a long way from all bars which been a young couple this is why we were there, but there is bus and tram stops about a min walk away
