Could not have been a more perfect place for our family!! Everything was amazing and we(all 26 of us) had just a great time here. The house was just as we hoped and more!!!
We stay in 2-3 cabins a year for our youth group. This is the best one we have stayed in: super clean, tons of activities in site and fit the needs of our group perfectly!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Karen, our host was quick to respond and work with us.We stayed in this same unit about 4 years ago and we were happy to return.
This property was the perfect place to bring ALL of the family to celebrate my husbands birthday. Rented a pontoon boat literally half a block away from the marina. Clean pool on the property. It had all the kitchen items needed along with a huge restaurant size fridge and large pantry to store all the goods needed for such a large group. Highly recommend.
Our family of 16 have rented through VRBO for 12 years and this property was the best one we have ever stayed at. It was very clean and was equipped with all the supplies you could ever need, an abundance of dishes and silverware for our large group and all the appliances that you need. There was even a very large supply of spices for your cooking needs. The beds were very clean and comfortable. It is situated halfway between Eureka Springs and Branson which makes it nice to be able to visit both attraction areas. Our family highly recommends this property. If we are ever in this area again we would not hesitate to stay here again.
Loved the house. Good location to the marina. The only thing was bathrooms. The queen room and the loft room share a bathroom so they had to go wherever they could after boating. Otherwise terrific place. Loved it.
Elk lodge and its neighboring lodges have ample room for extended family and are within a convenient walk to a beach and a marina. It's a good central location for exploring the outdoors of the Ozarks or the attractions of Branson. Our group contained relatives from 6 households with ages from 1 year old to 75 and we all had a good time. The bunk room that sleeps 12 was great for all the cousins from 7 to 20 years old while the older generations had privacy.
We just returned from this property and had a few pros and cons after our stay at this VRBO
Pros:
Lots of room for families to spend time together. We never felt crowded and there was a variety of things to do at the house including a pool table and bags for adults and a Skee-Ball table and a play kitchen for the little ones. There is also a community pool just a short walk from the property and most afternoons we had it to ourselves.
Most bedrooms had a private bath which was nice. All were decorated with cute wall sayings and pillows which added a pop of color to the white walls. The main kitchen was well stocked with dishes, storage containers, spices, and lots of bakeware for the oven and microwave. They also have a kitchen in the lower level so you can choose between cooking with gas on the main level or electric in the lower level. The main kitchen had a huge refrigerator/freezer which was nice and it’s worth noting the water/ice in the door feature is available in the lower level only.
Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the same room together as the lower level has four triple bunk beds. There are also 3 other bedrooms on that level for adult supervision if needed.
Cons:
It is a considerable drive to most of the main attractions in Branson which we did not realize. The ride to the cabin is very scenic, but the road is very twisty so be aware.
We were disappointed to find that the cleaning was a bit subpar after reading the description of the property. There were a lot of cobwebs and crumbs throughout the house. Even found partially eaten food left from previous renters on the floor in the lower level. We also experienced ants on the main level and with kids playing on the floor this was a concern of ours. Also, not all the sliding deck doors locked properly nor were there doweling rods to secure those sliders that did not lock.
It is also worth noting that you are out in the woods located next to a lake so be aware there are wasps, spiders and they were in full force on both decks and inside during our stay.
Lastly, the internet connection was very slow and inconsistent, during our stay.
Despite these issues, it is a good option if you have a large family or want to host a family reunion. Its size and accomodations provides an opportunity to eat, sleep and enjoy each other’s company all under the same roof and the sunsets are amazing.
Everything was wonderful love the house love the location one thing was a problem none of the back sliding doors would lock , Was a little unease with that. Overall was a great place to stay. Very clean and very neat
Modern nice home, lots of room, nice deck and lots of nice amenities. A little Sheetrock dust was the only issue. Would be even better place when weather is warm, right next to state park entrance.
This is a lovely property but when we arrived the bathrooms and kitchen where clean but the floors where very dirty and light fixtures very dusty. The fireplaces didn’t work even though we asked for help with these issues thru the property manager we didn’t get help with them. This is the 2 nd year we have been here but not to sure about next year

Overall we had a good time
Overall, we had a good time. I will just lay out the pros and con as that seems to be the best way to go about reviewing this property.
Pros: The layout is great for a large group. We were all able to hang out together, eat, play cards, etc. When it was time for bed, it was nice to have individual spaces. Most bedrooms have bathrooms, which was very nice. The view over the lake was great. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and skee ball.
Cons: I felt the place was not cleaned well, especially since properties are supposedly doing extra cleaning due to COVID. We had to wash almost every pan that came from the cabinet. They were greasy and put away dirty. Bath tubs were dirty. A couple of beds had not been changed.. one had hair in it. There were also maintenance issues such as the bottom deck porch lights didn’t work, one patio door doesn’t lock and trim missing from cabinets. My guess is that the owner is paying a company to take care of this stuff and they are not.
The lodge was everything we expected! We were on the shore of Table Rock Lake with great views from the patios. The kitchen , dining room and bedrooms were all spacious and well appointed. Check in and check out was a breeze. We all had a great time and this was very convenient for getting into Branson, Top of the Rock and Dogwood Canyon.
We enjoyed our stay here. There was plenty of space for everyone and the home was nice and clean. The marina and lake were a little further than expected, but still within a very short driving distance. We would stay there again!
