"We had the best time! Cabin was what was expected, clean and roomy. The place was beautiful. The only suggestion we have is that the grass should have been mowed at least a few feet around the house. Otherwise it was perfect. We definitely would stay here again"

"Cute cabin in the woods. They had air conditioning. Pull out couch was comfortable. Host directions were great. The cabin had everything you needed. If you are staying a while, you might want to bring some extra towels. We saw a moose the first night. Our son enjoyed the loft."
Mountain Lake Cabin near Henry's Lake

"Pros: The Mountain Cabin is a beautiful cabin situated in a forested location central to a variety of fun places to visit like Henry’s Lake, Yellowstone, Island Park, Mesa Falls and Virginia City, all of which we visited! Several heads of doe and a small buck was seen bedded down near the cabin . We also enjoyed our interaction with a couple of owls that frequented the tall aspen and pine trees at night. The cabin itself is warm and inviting and has a wonderful woodsy feel!Cons: There were a few preexisting issues that complicated our stay unfortunately. 1. The oven didn’ work (overheating and throwing thermal codes) 2. The microwave door cover literally came off the hinges on the first attempt to open (it still worked with negotiation). 3. The 3 garbage cans were completely full and smelly upon arrival making it tricky to dispose of our garbage until day 5 of our 7 day stay. 4. Broken upstairs bathroom exhaust fan (opening the window was the only way to ventilate). Final thoughts: All of these issues were preexisting, evidenced by notes left in guest book and counter, oven circuit breaker switched off, and garbage cans full upon arrival. A magnet on the fridge encourages guests to contact owner with concerns before leaving a negative review so issues can be fixed promptly & guests are provided a 5 star stay. Unfortunately, outside of the garbage being dumped, the other issues were not addressed during our stay. Beautiful cabin! Wonderful location! Fixes needed."

"Exceptional cabin!!! The house is in the middle of a giant pasture/field. There are cows grazing just over the fence line. Endless sun rises and sun sets. Star gazing like you’ve never seen before!!! We could hear the wolves and coyotes at night during a full moon. About 45 minutes to the West Yellowstone entrance, but it’s a peaceful easy ride.The cabin was spacious, clean, cozy and well decorated. Well stocked with paper goods, blankets, towels, etc. We had 5 kids stay upstairs in the loft with plenty of space to spread out.Tara was quick to respond and helpful with all my questions both leading up to the trip and while we were staying on the property. 10/10 highly recommend!!"
