"It’s worth the upgrade to stay on the lakeside. The 1st floor lakeside rooms have grass patios overlooking the water. They also have family rooms but again, way better with lake view. The restaurant is very slow service. Very slow! We gave up entirely once. They have a happy hour 2-5pm delish chicken tenders. Take advantage of the free paddle boards, kayaks and bike rentals. The lake is stunning"

"The patio is such a nice little extra. We were very comfortable and were able to walk most places within 30 minutes or less. Be prepared for a few steep hills though. This was a great place to stay. If you do plan on making meals there, I would recommend a cooler bag and a packed lunch as you may not want to walk back for that. There are lots of great parks to have a picnic down the hill."
