Main level has a large living area with a standing fireplace. Great large kitchen and dining area and cable/DVD in the living room. A restful porch with spa wraps around home and rests on Frog pond. Also on main level is one master king bedroom with connecting bath. On the second level there are 3 bedrooms: One master King bed and bath, with patio doors going out to the upper deck to take in the views. The two remaining rooms are Queen size bedrooms, one having a private patio. There is also an additional full bathroom on the second level. Finally, there is a additional family room on the second level with cable/DVD. Our Cottage: This beautiful home is our favorite place to getaway from it all. Whether you like fishing, skiing or just relaxing, our home will offer all the comforts of home. We feel that in our experience vacationing with our own family and renting properties all over the country. Having a place that you can come and have the comforts of home yet some of the extras that a hotel can provide would be the ultimate experience. It's in the details: Our property has all the amenities you will need to make your vacation a enjoyable one. In the kitchen we provide all utensils and serving ware, along with spices and condiments for your use during your stay. All appliances are new and there is also a gas grill for those cookouts. Premium cable and DVD players are standard in both family areas upstairs and downstairs. Patio furniture as well as the porch area is furnished for those who want to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The decor was interesting with the tree feature in the living room and other nature themed features around the house. The outside was overgrown with weeds and bushes that needed trimming badly. Found out that their caught covid and was not able to clean the property for a few months. He did show up as we were leaving. A little disappointed that the pond was dry but that was outside of anybodys control. The house was fairly clean and the beds were comfortable. The biggest down side was the closets and most of the dresser drawers were full of cloths to include underwear. Seems like this is standard since I have seen this in other VRBO's we had stayed in. The owner was very responsive to any questions and issue we had and did her best to correct them right away. We would definitely return but the decor was not our style. We spent 3 days here in July 2018 - it was 85 degrees in Pinetop at the time so the AC being available at the house was a total life-saver (it only got down to 72 or so in the middle of the night). The house is older, feels like a well-loved house someone started renting and not a professional rental. Closets and Garage have personal items in them, wear and tear on common items like door hardware, but it's not a big deal. Just an FYI for folks that VRBO/Airbnb a lot and know the difference between professional rental and a personal home. Kitchen is VERY well stocked, bedding was comfortable, towels were clean but a bit dingy and old - again, this is the 'not a professional rental' aspect. The water pressure was a NICE surprise... it's awesome for some reason (I've not know Pinetop to be a high-pressure city) but showers were very satisfying. The 'Pond' isn't really a pond... it's looks like a runoff/drainage area out front of the house and it was empty when we were there. Just be aware if you have thoughts of your kids playing near a pond and having fun. The property is fairly overgrown so not a grassy clearing for kids to play in. One downside to the property is that is has a series of disparate patios, all of them small, none of them connected and all of them in need of being re-built due to wood rot. I don't think there is a terribly private/comfortable place to sit outside. To that point, the hot tub is on the back side of the house sort of back by where you park... which happens to be a small communal parking area facing 4 other houses... you would NEVER have a romantic evening in the hot tub where it currently is. If you need a comfortable place to sleep and use as a base-station, this place is great. If you are trying to get away into the woods and want to have coffee on the patio and relax in a magazine-esque setting, this isn't the right choice at all. Fortunately for us, we just needed a base station so it worked. ##### Riyad K. The owners of this place are very quick to respond and very accommodating. The house is so warm and inviting and even had Christmas decorations inside and out. You can tell this place is well cared for. There is PLENTY of seating both upstairs and down and a closet full of games. The beds are warm & comfy and there's lots of extra blankets, just in case you need another layer. We had an amazing time! The hot tub, the front porch swing, the grill, the generally nice layout and amenities were all just what we needed. It was a beautiful place with a cottage-core vibe to it. The group appreciated seeing the wildlife, hanging out in the hottub, and making use of the Roku to watch programming together after a long day. The kitchen is well featured, so we had plenty of what we needed to cook and enjoy ourselves. Will definitely consider staying here again! ##### Alexandria W. The owner is very communicative and accommodating. Shannon really cares about her guests. It was close to everything that we wanted to do, and we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway. The home is very spacious with great comfy beds. We loved the views of the pond and watching the ducks and geese and snow falling. Gorgeous photo opportunities.
