Thanks for a great stay. Clean house and well appointed for our family. Appreciated the updated verandah and blinds. This has been our 4th trip to your accomodation and we have noticed and appreciated the improvements. Possibly better lighting in the kitchen and the lounge would be a bonus. Unfortunately the back yard is uninviting. The driveway remains a challenge.
This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying in this house. It is spacious and comfortable. As soon as we arrived we noticed that the walls had been painted and there were new appliances in the kitchen. Our ‘kids’ (29, 21, 17 & 17) love the downstairs games room especially the pool table!! Everything was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay in this house again!
Could be a great home. It had plenty of space and room to move. Unfortunately the house is worn and tired. Surface clean, but open a cupboard or sit outside and it shows that a deep clean is needed. Overgrown driveway, spiderwebs everywhere and in need of some maintenance. Good location, backyard not useable.
We picked the house as it has 4 bedrooms, and pet-friendly for our dog, located a short distance to town for supplies.
A couple of comments, we emailed about any enclosure for the dog, but got no reply, and almost went with another option. But decided to wing it. We were concerned when we arrived there was nowhere to enclose the beast-no information in the instructions on facilities for a dog, so it was the second day when we worked out the back door opened to an enclosed area which helped us out.
But a great house in a great location.
Well located well appointed house with everything you need for staying in beautiful Lakes Entrance. Would definitely stay again and loved the pool table !
Always great to stay at Lakes Entrance with plenty to do. The house sleeps all of us and its a bonus having the pool table to keep the boys entertained. Thanks again and see you again next year.
We were amazed by the green vegetation around which made it very pleasant.
The property had everything you needed for a vacation..
Highly recommended this property which is within walking distance to the city..
Host was efficient. Some parts of the house in need of maintenance - lights not working, tile grout not clean. The house is not really suitable for elderly people - the driveway is VERY steep, even to get to the ramp; the shower over the bath is difficult and other couples feel constrained about using the shower in the en suite; the furniture is VERY low; and the table, when extended, makes access to the kitchen difficult. But sitting in the deck in the late afternoon was pleasant; there are more dishes, saucepans and glasses than you shake a stick at; and the morning glory is a sight to behold! We won’t book that house again, but it would be very suitable for younger people.

Very practical family house
We had a lovely stay at the Beach House. It is very practical for a larger family or a few couples to share. Four bedrooms and a rumpus room for the kids or the "big kids". Close enough to the town for good walkers. We'd stay there again, if the opportunity arose.
The house was amazing. The downstairs games room was a hit with our kids! It was a place where they could play billiards, games or watch TV which had Netflix which was another favourite. The upstairs living room also had a large screen TV with Netflix. It was only a 2-3 minute drive to the shops and main beach. The property manager was terrific and quick to reply when we had questions. We will definitely be booking this house again! We highly recommend it!
The house itself was very good, a comfortable residence with 2 bathrooms. The ensuite is very small. Unfortunately, there was little effort by the owners to fix small problems, and this detracted from the overall experience. For example, the microwave controls didn’t work properly, and it was difficult to get it working at all. The gas stove was old and needs work. The kitchen cupboards don’t close properly. The condiments that were there just appeared to have been left by others, no sugar, an empty pepper container. The towel rails in the bathroom had obviously broken, just the brackets remained. Not a good look. No bed linen or towels provided, not even bath mats. The back yard was completely overgrown, and impossible to access. A good crop of weeds growing from the gutters. All easily fixed, you just need the desire to do it.
A nice property, unfortunately dated and in need of maintenance.
We couldnt use the outdoor table in fear the badly worn chairs wouldnt hold us, The decking is on the verge of being dangerous.
And the 2 car car port at tge bottom of a Very steep driveway has a pile of timer to the side making it impossible to get 2 cars in, as well as the bushes along the driveway being too overgrown to allow manoeuvring of a 2nd car into the carport. Downstairs smells very stale and the flywire door barely slides.
The ensuite on the main bedroom has a tiny basin on the wall that is barely useable and the shower in the main bathroom is in the bath and very difficult to move in.
After a few days we finally found the well concealed cieling fan control (in the pantry cupboard).
Very 80’s, but comfortable and made the base of a very enjoyable holiday.
Really needs some very overdue maintenance and updating.
Why does it take so long for the property deposit to be paid back to me?

Mixed feelings
Unfortunately the listing did not meet expectations. It states that the deck is covered, due to the weather and lack of shelter we were unable to use the deck. The backyard is not accessible either.
The downstairs playroom is obviously under renovations, but due to the strong smell of mildue we were unable to utilise this area, thus the children werent given much space to play. We booked this property as it stated it had plenty of room for the children, but with no backyard, no games room and the rain not allowing us on the deck, everyone was stuck within the upstairs area.
