We did a lot of cooking and found all we needed. The view over the water is pretty. Short walk on the beach is nice, though you quickly get to private property. My six grandchildren were in the water kayaking within 30 minutes of our arrival. The location was beautiful and relaxing and offered many outdoor activities. Kayaking, clam digging, flying kites, making s’mores around the fire pit, and the sunsets were fabulous. We also enjoyed watching the Herron Island Ferry, cranes and sea lions. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. One wing of the house was perfect for kids sleeping quarters and the other wing for adults.
