"Steps to Water" is a good 3 blocks down the street, through the parking lot, then there is a sidewalk & concrete breakwater with nothing but rocks on the other side. No sand and no entry to the water. To even view the water you need to stand in the middle of the street & 3 blocks down the road you can see some water. The washer/dryer are outside & the washer is a rusted out mess. The outside furniture photos are not what is actually there (they're quite run down) & it wasn't very pleasant with cigarette butts on the patio in front of the door. We only spent 1 night there & complained extensively about the property misrepresentation. They have since removed the photo of wooden stairs with sand at the bottom... Despite our repeated requests to refund the unused portion (14 nights) Zachary the property manager refused to do so. That is FALSE… The only bed is in the small living room for my 2 kids to sleep we would of needed air mattresses on the floor which would block your only walk way to the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen table only sat 2 people the bathroom was the size of a camper bathroom the only place available to put away your belongings was a small closet that would hardly work for 1 person therefore your luggage would have to be left on the floor ,we had fruit flys everywhere. I contacted the host 10 minutes after I got to the property to ask for a full refund due to my family NOT being able to fit in this space and he refused to give me a refund. I then contacted VRBO and they also would NOT help me. I LOST all my money and was 10 hours away from home it took me 3 hours to find a hotel to stay in (due to spring break) and we were only able to stay 2 nights. During that time I was on a frantic hunt to find another rental for the duration of our trip. I did find something that again cost me ALOT of money. I do not recommend this rental unit or host I also had another family traveling with me who rented through VRBO and the same host who’s unit was just as bad and they also lost all their money and got NO help at all from the host or VRBO… Horrible company and horrible host… ##### Heidi S. Arrived to the property about 9pm after a long day. Tried the door code. It didn't work. Attempted multiple times, before contacting the unit hosts. They never shared a phone number, so waiting for message to go through, on the worst internet connection we have seen since 2010\. Finally get a message stating since this is a costal area the door sticks, so to rock the door while the code is making noise... husband tried 4 times before the broken lock finally opened. By this point, I was sitting in a chair across the courtyard. The scent of mildew slapped me in the face. Listing states sleeps 4\. There is one full bed,and a leather couch. No bedding for couch. 3 adults in our party, as stated when booked. Couch does NOT pull out into a bed, as I assumed from listing saying sleeps 4\. Asked host where the other bed is. Reply, you have to request it in advance. Bathroom sink splashes water everywhere if turned on more than a trickle.Kitchen sink has a 2 inch gap in pipe, so water going down drain splashes into cabinet. Explains mildew smell. Fully stocked coffee bar? Basic Keurig, 4 pods, 3 mugs, some sugar and powdered creamer. Couldn't even drink it. Or pour it down the drain, see sink issue above. Extremely disappointed.
