"I visited the hotel from May 11th-May 14th 2026. Good location, right off the interstate. It’s a clean area. Not congested. The hotel was clean and the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. There’s a steakhouse right next door to the hotel. It’s a very good location. Even though I had to drive 30 minutes to Sumter, I would definitely stay at this location again."

"We booked this for one night. We were greeted immediately by a professional, friendly staff member. We were told that no one would be at the front desk between 9pm (I believe) and 7am. It was past 9pm when we settled into our room for the night. So we didn’t notice prior that there were roaches. We had to be up at 4am the next day so we just did our best to smash them and sleep, which was impossible because my daughter was afraid one would crawl on her face in the middle of the night. Needless to say we didn’t sleep well at all. The room smelled like it had been a smoking room and reeked of stale smoke. When my daughter got done with her shower, she put a towel on the floor to wipe up the water she had dripped on it and the towel was literally brown after. Our white socks were black after walking around in them for just a short time. The pillows were SO flat and the sheets and mattress protector were a little too tight for the bed and so it kept coming off the mattress, which wasn’t the cleanest. Other than the hallways smelling bad, we didn’t notice anything else so bad it stood out. We booked this room because it was cheaper than other options. I knew we weren’t staying in the nicest motel/hotel around. I’ve stayed in cheap motels & they were fine because they were clean. But between the roaches & the nasty floor, we didn’t want to touch anything. Would NOT recommend and would have left if we didn’t have to be up so early the next AM and had to stay more than one night. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay!The accommodations were clean,spacious, comfortable and truly felt like home from the moment we arrived. All amenities were on hand and readily accessible making it a light packing experience. The property location was peaceful and relaxing, and we had such a great time fishing from the pier that we never even needed to launch our boat. Yes! We caught our fair share of white bass and catfish. Sylvia was an absolutely amazing host and stayed in touch with us throughout the entire stay (our choice) making everything smooth and stress free. You can really tell she cares about her guests and their experience. We enjoyed the property so much we are booked again for October. If you are looking for a relaxing, well maintained, peaceful, getaway look no further!"

"Home2 Suites is perfect for a family AND it's pet friendly! The rooms were very accommodating. We had two queens and a sofa bed! So plenty of room. There was ONLY one bathroom so if there are multiple girls in the family it'll be hard. The staff is somewhat neutral. We had a fire alarm go off and they didn't provide us any update. The guests were standing around confused with zero engagement from the staff. No, the fire department didn't give any update either. Housekeeping made it a point to be as loud as possible walking through the hallways. The pool was shutdown for the season. Breakfast was average not much to be impressed with. There were a few incidents in the hotel. Gentleman has his car broken into. Lady had her dogs unleashed and nearly attacked my wife. "
