This home features French subway art, in addition to original watercolors and travel photography by the Owner of the home and well known SF artist, Noel Stubblefield. Prints of the artwork are available for purchase if you see a must-have...just ask! Enter the home into the dramatic foyer. Multiple textures and imagery create a visual masterpiece. Stone flooring and high vaulted ceilings lead to the main bedroom floor. The ground level floor offers three plush carpet-floored bedrooms and two baths. The layout follows: \-Bedroom #1-African themed Bunk room w/queen under twin bunk plus 1 additional twin \-En suite bath with double sink vanity and stand up shower \-Bedroom #2-Spring themed queen bedroom \-Bedroom #3-Vintage themed queen bedroom \-Shared bath w/stand up shower Journey up the hardwood stairs from the foyer to the main living space. Amenities include a large stone hearth framing a wood fireplace, extra-large L shaped couch, one of a kind stainless steel and Lake Tahoe teal granite countertops, and original large scale subway art over the cabinets. To keep the property cool, open the windows and sliders at night to let cool air in, then close the windows, doors and blinds when you leave for the day. Such an incredible stay for my bachelor party with 8 total guys! If you're looking for a place that's no more than 15-20 min. drive from Palisades and 5 min. drive to Tahoe City's main street, this is the spot. Check-in was a breeze, kitchen / bedrooms / bathrooms were fully stocked with anything we needed and overall the place just had a really nice elevated and artsy feel (not just another boring / drab ski town condo). Perfect for a winter retreat to Tahoe and I imagine it's gorgeous in the summer as well (though I'm not 100% sure on lake access etc.) Hot tub on the back deck was a huge bonus - though just an FYI that you are in relative close proximity to neighboring houses (hardly saw anyone the entire time fwiw). Our party of six spent three nights here, and were generally delighted! The only caveat is that we were told that, as short-term renters, we were not entitled to use the beach, tennis, etc. target actually confiscated out short-term rental ID! The owners need to take these percs out of the description of the property! With that said, we would stay again in a heart beat. ##### John L. Our stay was absolutely lovely. We came inside and quiet Jazz music was playing from the TV and the house was pristinely cleaned - always a good sign!
