You can even steal a peak of Lake Tahoe from the kitchen and deck! Our large kitchen includes a 6-burner gas stove with 2 ovens, which is great for an eat-in breakfast or dinner. A large side by side refrigerator and dishwasher complete the kitchen. On the deck,​ right outside the kitchen​, there is a BBQ stocked it propane (BBQ utensils are in the drawers right inside the sliding glass door) The upstairs​ living room is equipped with a 55-inch​ flat-screen TV and a Bluetooth Sony soundbar​ system that can play music from your phone, devices or the TV. There is also a double sided fireplace that is between the living room and the kitchen. This living room also has a pullout​ couch. Extra bedding and pillows are in the built-ins right inside​​e the master bedroom as well as a queen size airmatress in the master closet! There is also a large downstairs family room that has another large 55 inch tv, Pool Table foosball table and comes with a large bar, complete with a sink, dishwasher, and a small refrigerator. The Master bedroom has a California king bed with a 37 inch flatscreen TV and two sliding glass doors to the rear deck. There is a Spa-like bathroom connected that boasts a large jetted tub and a large double shower head steam shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a full bathroom right outside the door which is also the main upstairs bathroom. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed with a walk in closet and its own bathroom right outside the door connected to the living room Bedroom 4 has one twin bed and one set of bunk beds with a bathroom right outside the door Bedroom 5 has 1 sets of bunk beds and one twin bed. The bathroom is right outside the door between bedroom 4 and 3 The 6th bedroom is the Mother in Law unit which is located on the bottom floor of the house. It has a separate entrance, Queen bed, full bathroom with tub and a kitchenette with a hot plate, kitchen sink, ​microwave​, ​ and a small Refridgerator. It is laid out like a hotel room with a closet, flat screen tv with cable, and its own little deck patio outside the entrance that views to the forest behind the house! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so there was no skiing but we had plenty to do at the house taking advantage of the poker table, pool table, etc. When roads were closed heading out - we called up Kevin and he was easily able to extend us a day so we could travel safely home. Plenty of space to be together or apart with several areas to sit and chat or watch tv. The in-law suite was perfect for me. It has it's own bathroom, microwave, toaster oven and hotplate. It is on the bottom floor attached to the house. Three decks on the back keep the house accessible from every room. Kevin, our host, was amazing. Prompt responses to our questions and very accommodating with an early and late check out. He also checked in with us after our arrival to make sure we didn't need anything. I have a group of friends (some of us family) from NCAL, SCAL, Utah, and Florida that try to come to the Tahoe area once a year to hang out, barbecue, play video games, hit the lake, and go to the casinos. We wish we found this place sooner. We had a great time hanging out on the multiple decks, watching movies in the living room, and gaming in the game room. We actually spent more time in the house than expected because we were enjoying our time. It's a great place to connect with old friends. Kevin was wonderful and easy to work with. We were very impressed with the house. There was plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters, the game room offers lots of activities during down time, and the location is great and closely connected with various activities to do throughout Lake Tahoe. Kevin was very receptive and active in communications and nicely left a welcome package on check-in that was awesome. Oh my goodness, I don't know where to begin with our stay here! I brought a group of 12 of both friends and family to help celebrate my 30th birthday for my first time to Tahoe! Kevin went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and being available for any questions or concerns. We requested both a bit of an earlier check in and late check out due to our traveling plans, and Kevin went above and beyond to make it possible! This was hands down the best home rental experience we've ever had. The house is BEAUTIFUL! So much room for activities! The sound system and game room was an added perk. My friends and family had only compliments and good things to say about the place all weekend!! Plenty of room for individuals to do their own thing or gather together for games or meals. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. This place is 10/10\. When we venture back to Tahoe, this will be the place! Wow! What can I say about this gem, but...wow! So many bedrooms and a mother-in-law quarter with kitchen and private bathroom. Tucked away in a cute little community with views to die for. The owner was awesome to work with. He helped make our trip one to remember even during 6 feet of snow. Close to the town and casinos, so the location was perfect. We had so much fun sledding and playing in the snow. Full game room downstairs helped us kill time while being snowed in for 2 days. We had adults, teenagers, and one child over a fun weekend. The location was close to all Tahoe has to offer. The house layout allowed everyone to have their space and play when needed. It was for my wife's 70th birthday, and we needed a place that would house the whole family. The house was large, with two separate living areas. It was great to have the pool and game area downstairs where the kids (and an occasional adult) could play, along with a living room, kitchen and dining area upstairs, which was perfect for just relaxing, or gathering around the dinner table. Beds were all comfortable, although I would say sleeping is a little tight for 16 people. The owner was very responsive and available, although we really didn't require much assistance. The location is great, very close to main part of South Lake, but in a quiet neighborhood. The biggest issues were several - what I would call - deferred maintenance items, although nothing that impacted our stay. (This was my primary reason for 4 - not 5 - stars. The kitchen could have had a few more items, but was adequate for our short stay. The owner is kind and responsive. We (6 adults and 4 kids) had a great time here. The only thing disappointed the kids is that the foots ball is not working well.
