Lake Placid Conference Center

The staff were very, very nice and accommodating. When the room they gave me smelled of cigarette smoke, they immediately gave me another room. The one big issue was how dirty the common areas were. All the glass doors and windows looked like they had never been cleaned. The carpets, especially on the stairs were filthy. The hotel had a general musty and dirty smell, especially in common areas. Best Western and the management of this hotel need to step up and do a major cleaning. It would make a world of difference. This hotel definitely has the potential to be much better.
