The setting is nice and we like the character of these homes. The stay overall was positive. When we found the stove inoperable, it was addressed the same day. There were other important issues I also raised with them that will need to be adressed for future guests. Cookware was bad. The unit just wasn't clean- the floors especially. Granted with the age of the unit we weren't expecting perfection but cleanliness is essential.

It was nice but cozy with 5 adults and 2 dogs, but we knew that going in. We wanted something different and just to get away from the city for a week. We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and even rented a boat one day. Went over to the castle and natural bridge and stopped at Bridal Cave on the way back. It was a great well and wish it wasn’t over.
