Hosts were so hospitable. They were friendly and helpful throughout our one night stay. The apartment was clean and the breakfast was wonderful and in an ideal setting of a grand kitchen dining room. The location and accommodation oozes tranquillity and calm.

Really nice hotel in a great location, don't fool yourself into thinking you can walk there with you case from the station though - It's not far but it's a massive hill. The staff throughout could not be more helpful and friendly, they really make the stay. The only thing is that it is very expensive, breakfast is CHF40 and diner at any of the hotel's restaurants is very expensive (but also very nice!!). There are plenty of good alternatives within an easy walk though. I would highly recommend...

The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. This hotel is amazing. It is about 20 minutes from Neuchatel at the bottom of a gorge by a river. The location is peaceful and scenic. The staff here are superbly hospitable. The room was very spacious and clean with a big bathroom. If you are wondering about the lack of curtains (there are net curtains), you need to use the shutters which are very effective. Very helpful staff who made sure we were aware of everything we needed to know and were always on hand. The room was huge and had air conditioning. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was the only meal we had in but it was of a great quality and variety. The bus stops right outside the hotel door and takes you down to town or the train station and it’s free for visitors!

I booked the Royal Savoy to celebrate both my birthday and wedding anniversary. The hotel has recently had a major refurbishment after being closed for 5 years.
