Great stay!

The property was truly perfect with fantastic lounge spaces and close proximity to activities. We had a large group so the number of beds was great, and having so many community areas was a treat. Hosts were responsive with questions and the place had all the basic amenities you'd need. Can't wait to come back!

Remarkable Time in a Special Place

We enjoyed staying at this property with my 93 year old mom. Very clean and for our purposes, perfect amenities. We enjoyed the home theatre room on two nights during our stay. Kitchen is very well appointed, and views were impressive. Loved it...love Steve and Sue Gage...and will hope to come again!

Summer break with family

The home was very nice and well maintained. Our family enjoyed the setting with the lake view and many other features. We spent our nights in the movie room and lower level playing pool, cornhole, or cards. Great place for families with plenty of entertainment in the house and surrounding area.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week at Buffalo Shoals Lookout. The house was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed with everything in great condition. Check in and check out we’re seamless. It was also nice to have the property managers close by in case of a problem (there weren’t any problems). Highly recommend this property!

Immaculate house with great taste

This property is one of the best vacation homes I have stayed at. Ticks all the boxes and then goes beyond expectations. Spacious, beautifully built and decorated, full of amenities and conveniences. A Taste of Fall

The property never disappointed- from the views from every window, the great kitchen, movie night, rocking in a deck chair to enjoying an evening campfire around the fire ring. WOW!

This home was amazing! The kitchen is off the charts! The view is fantastic! The theater room is really great! We enjoyed the hot tub, the pool table and the jacuzzi. We were comfortable not even leaving the property. The fire pit was a lot of fun. We had a few day fires to enjoy. We'll definitely rent this property again! Highly recommended! The management was extremely helpful and responded to our questions immedialtely.

Great Mountain Views in a Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this pristine property! The house was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t in this house. The kitchen was FULLY equipped with high-end appliances and everything you could possibly need to cook. We particularly loved having the Big Green Egg because we have one at home too so we felt at home with it. The views were amazing and the fire pit outside made for a great afternoon. One major highlight was the full movie theater equipped with a sound system that is only matched in a real theater. I cannot say enough about this property! It is a definite must-rent if you are in Lake Lure. It felt like we were the first to rent this house because everything seemed like it was brand new. We come from a tourist area in NW Florida, so we understand how important a rental group is and these property managers were amazing. They were responsive and happy to help with anything we needed from the moment we got there until the time we left! We highly recommend this rental!!!

Spotless, well-appointed and well-equipped, comfortable, with a convenient north-end location. The property managers were extremely kind, knowledgeable of both the area and home, and provided the correct balance of support without being over-bearing. The views, the movie theatre and game room, hot tub, and BGE kept us entertained while not on the run. The unusual heatwave kept us from enjoying the firepit. We played golf at both Apple Valley & Bald Mountain, toured the Biltmore & hiked Chimney Rock, rented a pontoon on the Lake. We enjoyed dining at the Lake House, La Strada, Victory (3x), Legends, and Black Mtn Bistro. We found the location very convenient (5-min ea) to Rumbling Bald, Apple Valley, Victory Kitchen; 15-min to south-end restaurants and Ingles grocery (btw best vacay grocery ever!); 25-min to Lake Lure Marina/Chimney Rock.When we return to Lake Lure, this will be the first home we check availability to stay! Thanks for hosting us and helping make our vacay outstanding!

Eleven of us had ample space. Super safe and secure. Easy check in check out. Wildlife was incredible by the firepit. We had a mama bear and 3 cubs visit the first evening! We loved the movie theatre room and used the hot tub daily. The kitchen was very well equipped and a dream to cook in. Beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. Communication with the management agency was seller.Sadly, our trip was interrupted by Hurricane Helene and the terrible damage in Western North Carolina. We so enjoyed our visit to the area and hope recovery proceeds quickly for the good people who live in the area.
