Palace Hotel Port Townsend
10/10 Excellent
"Location, location, location and history! What a lovely weekend we had staying at The Palace. We’ve stayed in historical hotels before, but we all agreed, this place is a gem. The furnishings complemented the historical era so well. Some older buildings have a musty smell, but this one was well-ventilated and fresh. Our room gave us a full view of downtown as well as a peek a boo water view. Beds were soft, but very comfortable. We were worried about no air conditioning, but each room had a water cooler and fan that kept the room comfortable. Such a treat to share these tastefully decorated rooms. Our favorite public space is the third floor library with its full skylight."

"Clean and spacious room"
Harborside Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It's not the newest hotel with the latest interior design but it was nice enough and plenty clean. Having a balcony that opens up 50' from the marina is one of a kind. Loved that. It was cool."
Poulsbo Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"The inn is like a time warp with the wood paneling and the old fashioned quilted bedspread. The sheets are soft with wear but clean and dry. The complementary bagel breakfast is minimal. Parking is convenient and the air-conditioning is fine. The wifi signal was weak. This was our third year staying for one night when visiting an elderly relative who resides at a assisted living facility in Poulsbo."

"Very clean, helpful staff, had laundry on site"
Tides Inn & Suites

"Check in person was grouchy. Young man offered to show me where my room was. Very nice. Pillows are terrible! View from room was awesome! Nice if pexiglass around deck was cleaned."
Quality Inn & Suites Sequim at Olympic National Park
8/10 Good
"Clean room, standard breakfast. A quiet outside area would be nice. This was a convenient place to stay to access the Hurricane Ridge portion on ONP. Couldn’t get enough of the complimentary snacks and flavored water."
Old Alcohol Plant Hotel

"I have waited for a room with a tub at this place for about two years. Every time I thought to book, they were full. It was worth the wait. It has a very cool, wealthy-old-aunt's-mansion vibe, and we thoroughly enjoyed our view. We had a lovely panorama of the bay with a bird's eye of the gardens and the marina. It was fun just to relax on the patio with a cold beverage and look at the water. A cool refreshing breeze came in from the bay. We just live an hour away, but the weather was 20 degrees cooler here and that is so nice in the August heat. The staff were great, they told us all about what was going on around the property and where we could wander to look at the garden. There was a large wedding going on that looked very organized and fun. There is a restaurant that was a bit of a disappointment as the young gentleman hosting told us no one could help us, but we could sit in the bar with no bartender there to serve us. We understood it was likely due to the wedding and staffing issues. We ended up dining elsewhere, which was sad, as they highlight was the restaurant on site that utilizes their garden produce during the growing months. The room was clean, the bedding is high quality. We slept great and will return to have dinner at the restaurant in the fall. Remember, you are staying in an older, renovated building. It has a very cool, old mansion vibe. It is not a brand new Hilton, but all the makings of a great stay are there."
