Lake Kickapoo

I traveled here from Houston for my spouse birthday and this was the best hotel I ever stayed at. Definitely would come back and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

While the room was cleanish, the bathroom had mold n mildew along the edges. The staff were incredibly unfriendly and not helpful. The passcode for the door hardly worked and were not very user friendly. Our check in person Jimena was rude, couldn’t bother a smile let alone a word of welcome or anything resembling hospitality nor did some manager when we came to the office to ask bout the passcodes not working properly. They acted like we were bothering them at their house. The room overlooked 35 n wasn’t noisy as I expected. The space is rly tight as well. It was fine for what we needed but the staff put us off visiting this place again.
